My family and I loved our time here. It offered us exactly what we were looking for. It was a great location to enjoy some time in Gatlinburg while offering good access to GSMNP which was the main reason for our stay. Most importantly it offered a quiet retreat after action packed days. Check in, check out, and communication was great throughout the process. If we find ourselves back in the area, we wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

Upon arriving at the cabin, we were greeted by a cub! He was just so cute and was only curious. The cabin is beautiful and the perfect getaway! Everything was very clean, peaceful, and we enjoyed the hot tub! Thank you for a wonderful cabin!

The cabin was beautiful, the bedroom upstairs was perfect for our oldest, she wanted to stay there forever. The younger ones were so surprised by the pull out couch. The kitchen was equipped with all we needed, and I love that it had a coffee bar. Bathrooms had plenty of towels. Back porch had a hot tub which was clean and directly behind us was the woods. We were thrilled to see a bear early one morning wandering around. Overall it was such a wonderful stay!

Beautiful scenery and so quiet. Fireflies light up the woods and bears will visit. Everything we needed was in the cabin. Takes some getting use to the steep inclines in the mountains. You will not regret your choice of cabins!

Distance from gatlinburg/pigeon forge was great. Isolated and peaceful while being literally on the outskirts of the smoky mountain nat’l forest. Could not recommend this cabin enough!

This cabin felt like home! Very cozy and decorated wonderfully. The cabin was clean and updated. Master bed was so comfy I could've moved in!!! There is not much of a yard. The mountain backs up to deck where we saw a bear daily. The bears seem to have routine and don't bother you at all. One cub even came right up to the door. It was the highlight of the trip! :) Now the road to get up here is not for the faint of heart. It is a paved road, but in some spots there are drop offs without even a curb. Most of the road is fine and can fit two cars. Now mind you, I get nervous on these types of roads so it may seem fine to most, ha ha. There are two switchbacks that you need to maneuver. We were going up and down daily so for my husband it was not a big deal. Most of the roads in this area are like this, we are in the mountains. I would definitely stay again in spite of that road :). Host was fantastic, checked in on us. Overall...pick the cabin. You will not regret it!

The location was perfect: access to wonderful hiking trails in the Smoky Mountains, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge all within in 25 minutes. The hot tub was a wonderful way to soak sore muscles after climbing to the top of Le Conte! Make sure to try the fried pies!!

Perfect place for accessing the park trails and getting a great night’s sleep. Quiet and private. Everything was in place and clean and worked. Easy check out without much work. Responsive within the hour on everything. Not far from grocery store. Indoor wood-burning fireplace was really nice, though local wood is a bit pricey! Plenty of wildlife. Would definitely stay again next time we’re there.

The cabin wasthe nicest one ive ever stayed at. All the nessesities, beyond clean. Clise to town and shops. Loved it. BUT... THE VERY FIRST NIGHT ME AND MY FRIEND WAS GOUNG TO ENJOY OUR HOT TUB. AND WE LOIK UP AND A BIG BLACK BEAR IS STANDING ON THE STEPS OF THE HOT TUB . Terrified we tried scaring him / her away. He proceeded to go over the little fence ( still close enough to touch him ) we made a run for it and got inside. Needless to say we never got to use the hot tub. Even with how grand the place was i would never go back there. Thise pirches with the hot tub needs a protective barrier. I cant imagine what would hapoen if u grilled out and tried to have a meal outside. That was the scardest ive ever been

I had great communication with manager from check-in to checkout. It's outside the busy areas but have some good country restaurants and general stores close by. The cabin sits in the middle of six other cabins. It's quiet and cozy when inside. I did not use the hottub but it's covered and well lite. It's clean and well kept.i would stay here again in the near future.

We had a wonderful time! We will without a doubt be back to this exact cabin! It was cozy, quiet, and private, with easy access to town, gas, food, etc within 5-15 minutes!
Cabin looked exactly like the photos, it was clean and organized. We got firewood from a local vendor up the road.
Hot tub was enjoyable, and both bedrooms were very comfortable. We came here to celebrate our fifth anniversary. It is rare that we want to come back to the same place twice, but this exceeded our expectations and we cannot wait to come back in warmer weather.
The host was friendly and responsive but gave us our privacy. Check in and out was easy. Felt safe and secure the entire trip as well.
Try the local food! Of course there's plenty in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge but the restaurants in Wears Valley are truly incredible.
The burgers from Sloppy Hog up the road are delicious! PawPaw's Catfish Kitchen was perfect and only 5 minutes up the road. Try the fried pies across from Heavenly Roast!

We had a great stay here! The cabin was so nice and decorated for Christmas! If you want to be away from the crowds and traffic then this is a great area! Wears Valley is a quaint little town in itself to shop and explore.

The cabin was BEAUTIFUL! We loved having a fire in the fire place and enjoyed playing card games with our girls. While my oldest and I were in the hot tub, we even saw a small cub. This cabin was EXACTLY what my family needed: comfort, plenty of space, and beautiful views from the front porch. We loved our stay. It was on the outskirts of town just like we wanted but quick to get into either pigeon forge or gatlinburg from location. Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful cabin with us 🥰🥰

Lovely log home backing onto the National park. We loved the location. The house was beautiful & had almost everything we needed. The hot tub was especially nice after a day of hiking. My only recommendation would be that if you want a fire, pick up wood, kindling & paper in town. We didn’t realize that would not be provided for at least the first night, and it was too late to find it. Coming from Alberta, we stay in the Rocky Mountains quite a bit & have always had wood provided. Other than that, I would highly recommend it.

Two of us stayed for a short business trip (4 days) and this house was situated almost equally between pigeon forge and gatlinburg yet away from the bustle and in the foothills. House was clean and cute and provided all the starter items we needed. Any issues/communications we had were addressed immediately. Would stay again!

The property and location were great. The towns and roads in the area were at best 2 stars! Because of some sort of car rally or show the area and roads were overrun with poor man’s Grand Prix cars and drivers. A temporary issue but enough that we are not likely to return.

I was on my way to NC for a week away stay in the mountains, but the hurricane came as I was on the way. It was a scramble to find something safe and peaceful while on the road on such short notice. This place was my saving grace. I was all but ready to leave to go home after being in a hotel a couple days, but I decided to look one more time, and this cabin was IT! The hosts were so kind and accommodating. Beat came by literally every morning. It wasn’t over crowded, and it was in just the right location to be away from it all but close enough if you needed to grab anything. It was exactly what I needed. I highly recommend this place and hope to go back again!

This lodge is perfect for a family or friends retreat, or even a honeymoon for couples. Each morning you will wake up to a chorus of birds tweeting in the woods. Opening the curtains, rays of sunshine paint everything in the wood in lively, splendid colors. Open your door and sit by the front porch with a cup of joe, you will have the chance to observe some black bears wondering around. We are honored to have bears visiting each morning and evening. Don’t worry, there are a few other houses around and you are not on their diet. The house is located right by the national park and close to several trials of different levels of difficulty. The house is meticulously decorated to provide the vibe of “living in the woods.” Pack your favorite foods for the duration of the stay and enjoy!

Wonderful place! Each couple had their own bathroom off the bedroom. Kitchen was well equipped The beds slept well. We were there to see fireflies in Elkmont, and this location was only 15 minutes from there. Best surprise was mother bear and 2 cubs in back porch one morning. Would definitely go back.

The cabin is in a quiet neighborhood on a cul de sac at the top of a fairly steep road. It is a good escape from the excitement of Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, but still fairly convenient (~25 min) to get into town and very close to one of the park entrance's. The cabin was clean and nicely equipped and the property manager was communicative and friendly.

We are a small group of middle-aged college friends meeting up for a weekend of catching up with each other. This place was perfect for us. It was cozy and clean and had everything we needed. La cabaña era todo lo que buscábamos para nuestra familia de 4, las niñas encantadas en su habitación arriba, realmente muy bonita y acogedora. Ver desde la ventana el empezar del día callendo nieve fue algo increíble y hasta hacer sus muñecos de nieve ⛄️ sin duda nos encantó.
Shane estaba al tanto en todo momento aunque no tuvimos ningún inconveniente durante nuestra estadía!!!

We really enjoyed the cabin! Everything was clean and in good working order. Very cozy and comfortable. All was just as described and we would definitely come again. Check in and check out were very easy and Justin responded quickly when we had trouble with the lock (our problem, not the lock). Even saw a bear out back on our first night there. Awesome!

Came to the mountains for a long weekend with friends and this house was perfect! The communication with the host was fantastic. He was quick to respond and answer any questions. The house exceeded expectations. Very clean! Perfect set up with games and a hot tub. Bring your own seasonings if you want to cook as there was not even salt and pepper.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Beautifully decorated, very clean ,comfy bed & loved the hot tub. We visit the area every year, this was our first cabin rental, we will definitely book again !

I was so close to telling Shane that we weren’t leaving.. haha we loved it here! I loved it so much I even memorized the passcode over the few days I was staying here. It felt like a home and will give this a 10/10 for sure. He was responsive in under an hour and everything in the house was very unique and clean. Recommend!

We enjoyed our visit and felt right at home. Our hosts were very responsive and proactive. We had everything we needed, and it was only a short drive to get things we wanted. Location was perfect. We got the mountain experience we hoped for, yet we were still close to all the major attractions in the area that we planned to visit. Cabin was clean and the decor was great. We would definitely stay again. A+++

We had a great time during our stay. The location is really nice and within 30 minutes of all the local attractions. We had a little issue when we checked in, but it was taken care within a few hours. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The only thing that I wish we would’ve known beforehand was the fact that there are two additional cabins being built there. One right next to it. I understand this is out of the owners control and that’s why I still gave the rental a 5 star rating but if I would’ve known beforehand I would’ve booked somewhere else. While the workers where all very nice, they did start work very early and not stop until dark. Every day, including the weekend. So it definitely took away from the nice, quiet, peaceful, scenic, vacation that we planned for.

This cabin has a great location, about mid way between Pigeon Forge and Townsend. Lots of conveniences near by(gas stations, groceries, restaurants). Only a couple of miles off of Wear Valley Road. Great communication with property owner. Cabin was just as described, a “Sweet Retreat”. Would recommend.

My family and I had a wonderful time at the cabin. There was plenty of room for us to spread out. Everything that we needed was provided in the cabin. I enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the mornings drinking coffee and reading. Even had a bear visit one night. The location is perfect with a short drive to the general store, cute coffee shop and food truck park. We definitely plan on returning.

Cabin was as advertised, arrived to a very clean mountain cabin. Plenty of kitchen utensils and dinnerware. Had an issue, however, the property manager was quick to respond and communicated very well and timely. Would rent again.

This cabin was beautiful and had little wall decals about God to remind you of his presence. Justin was a great host and cabin was described exactly how it was. Will definitely book again.
