This was such a wonderful getaway! It was so peaceful.
Justin was so helpful and kind, the best host we could have asked for!! We absolutely LOVED the cabin and the beautiful views that came with it. I cannot wait to come back soon!!! I couldn’t recommend Justin or this cabin enough!

The cabin was private and quiet, we had a really great time staying here for our honeymoon. The driveway is steep but you should have no problem if you take the correct left hand lane up to the cabin when the road splits instead of trying to go straight up. The host always responded quickly and was very friendly. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Very spacious and beautiful cabin. Was greeted by a big bear before the driveway, added more to the mountain experience. Lots to do in and outside the house for those seeking a relaxing getaway to the top of a mountain.

Above The Clouds was a perfect place to stay for a vacation! The location was peaceful with perfect views of the mountains! The location was close to the shops and restaurants! Justin was a great host who was responsive and very helpful! Loved the entertainment in the house too (connect four, pool table, air hockey. Etc).

Above the clouds was easily one of the best AirBnB we have been in. It’s far enough away that you feel secluded in the mountains but then also within 10-20 minutes of anything you need or may want to do. The family enjoyed the views while relaxing in the hot tub every night. We even saw a bear at the bottom of the drive which was the highlight of our trip! Justin was a fantastic host who provided enough of the starter amenities that we didn’t even have to open our own. Nothing but great things to say and we would highly recommend staying here!

It was a beautiful place. Perfect for our family. It had everything I needed without having to pack a ton (pack n play, high chair, child’s potty seat, stool, kids utensils, plates and cups) which is rare for an Airbnb. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Very nice and peaceful place to stay! Beautiful sights from the cabin along with plenty of room for the family. Very comfortable and cozy cabin. Our family absolutely loved the stay at the cabin. Conveniently located, amazing views, clean, and great communication from owners. Our kids 4 and 6 loved the hot tub as well as all the games that were available at the cabin. My wife and I both agree that booking the cabin was the best decision we made as it set the tone of a perfect vacation. The cabin allowed us to have a busy on the parkway and then a private calming getaway in the evening. We felt at home and were sad to leave. We will definitely be looking to stay here again in the future.

Great cabin in a perfect location — quiet, scenic, and we even saw a black bear walk past the deck. The space is clean, updated, and well set up for a small family. We’d likely stay again and bring our kids.
Only downside: the sauna didn’t heat properly (only reached 122°F). Since that was a main reason we booked, it was disappointing. Otherwise, a solid stay.

This is the one! If you are anything like us you’ve been looking through AirBNBs and VRBOs for hours in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area. Well congrats! You’ve stumbled upon the house for you.
The house and its surroundings are beautiful! The mountain views from the back deck are what you come to the smoky mountains for. We enjoyed watching sunsets from the deck, playing air hockey, Jenga, and foosball. Everything was clean and tidy when we arrived. The driveway can be intimidating at first but it was no issue with an all wheel drive.
The house is a few minutes away from all of the attractions, shopping and restaurants and 15 minutes away from the national park. The location is very convenient for wanting to hike all day then go out to dinner and shopping in the evening!
My wife and I will definitely be back!

Justin's place was amazing! The house is truly on top of the mountain with an amazing view. With only one next door neighbor, it felt really private and secluded.
The extremely steep driveway gave us a surprise, but we got up and down perfectly fine, even in the rain.
Plenty of amenities. A super comfy couch and large TV, which we appreciate as being movie fanatics lol.
We truly enjoyed our time here, and hopefully will return again ❤️

After a couple of days at Dollywood, this was just the relaxing retreat our family needed. With a hot tub, air hockey table, and other games in and out of the house, we didn’t even need to leave the cabin to have a fun day. So glad to have found this property. We would definitely stay again.

We truly enjoyed staying at Above the Clouds cabin this past weekend! It was super clean and cozy! The beds were very comfy and there were plenty of pillows! I loved how they really focused on family and having the things you need especially if you have young children. Our kids are older but I can appreciate how much thought they put into that aspect. They had an extra high chair in the closet and a foldable potty seat upstairs. My kids loved the air hockey table and we all enjoyed the hot tub! This cabin offers peace and quiet and the feeling of being secluded but it’s super close to everything you may need or want to do! We seen a bear and huge turkey so that was really neat too! We definitely recommend booking this one for your next getaway! We loved it!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The location was perfect; we felt secluded and had beautiful views of the mountains but it only took 7 min and we were downtown Pigeon Forge- couldn’t have picked a better location. Went here for our honeymoon and it was perfect! 15-20mins from just about everything! We used the hot tub literally every morning and night, it’s so peaceful outside with that beautiful view! The master bedroom is so spacious and the bed is HUGE! Everything is labeled which I found sooo helpful because I never know where to look. The host was super fast at replying to any possible issues/questions and even made sure half way through the stay to check in and make sure everything was to our liking. Overall, this is 10/10 cabin! We will for sure be coming back with our friends and their kiddos because it’s huge and has all the amenities! :)

Above the Clouds was a perfect Smoky Mountain Getaway. My Wife and I could not have asked for a better cabin to spend our anniversary. This cabin is perfect for a couple or a family. The cabin was clean and had several entertainment and comfort amenities. The host Justin was very responsive before, during, and after our trip. We would without a doubt book another stay in this cabin. The only thing to note about this cabin is listed in the listing, a four wheel drive or all wheel drive vehicle does help due to a steep driveway. But it is absolutly worth it for the view and the privacy. Five Stars all around.

Justin kept in constant touch from the beginning and continued till well after we had checked out. The instructions for getting there, checking in, accessing the property, operating the appliances and equipment at the home, and getting around the area were very clear and simplified. Cabin was spotless, well kept, and great view.
We will definitely keep Justin in mind for future trips!

Beautiful place, great view, clean very nice conditions. Rough driveway up to the cabin need more gravel on the drive. If no more gravel added make sure you have a high clearance car or truck to get over the bumps and divits in the road. Stove need maintenace the one burnner would not shutoff or adjust temperature easily.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The hot tub on the deck was beautiful with the mountain views. Our boys enjoyed the loft with the tv, games and their own bathroom. The road is steep and you definitely need a 4x4 but close to everything once you are down the mountain.

Our 5 day stay was great. Everything we expected it to be. Very clean . No issues the view is amazing. Yes the hill is steep we had FWD but I could see if you didn’t you might have issues. It’s so close to everything. We would stay there again our kids loved the upstairs area it was nice that they had their own space. Justin is very nice and quickly to respond to any questions.

The cabin was very cozy and felt like home. The deck was my favorite place to relax and watch the sun set. Very peaceful. We enjoyed playing games with our kids upstairs, which they loved! The hot tub was an added bonus when it cooled off at night. And the water pressure was amazing! Justin was extremely helpful and responsive to any questions or concerns I had. This was the perfect cabin for our family of four. The views were breathtaking, the location was in close proximity to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, and there was so much for our family to do when we weren’t sight seeing- relax in the hot tub, play games, watch movies, and snuggle on the cozy coach. The only caution is the steep driveway, which is to be expected for a cabin with that great of views.

Great experience with this Airbnb. Justin went above and beyond. We will be staying there again for sure. This place had all we could ask for and more. This place was everything we were looking for. A quiet retreat with an amazing view. You could just sit on the porch for hours enjoying the spectacular view and noises of the outdoors. We even had a few bear sightings. Nice firepit for night time entertainment. Inside had a very nice kitchen area but we used it minimally. 2 seperate sleeping areas and 2 bathrooms. Comfy beds and very nice water temperature and presure. Very nice spacious TV/living room to just chill and hang out. Games to keep you busy too.
Do not attempt the driveway without good tires and brakes as it is a very steep climb. There is a house close by but they are the nicest people and very quiet (barely heard them coming and going).
The only negative thing I can say about this place is the 10 digit code to get in...seriously. This is the place you want to stay at when in the area. Planning to return soon.

Out of all of the times I’ve been to Gatlinburg/ Pigeon Forge area, staying in Above The Clouds has absolutely been the best trip yet. One of if not the most stunning view in all of the area. The view paired with the hot tub made sure we stayed on the deck most of our stay, and when we didn’t want to be outside anymore, we went upstairs and enjoyed the same view while playing pool. It was spectacular. Comfortable furniture in every corner of the house, spectacular views, and you’re far enough that you might get to see bears on multiple occasions like we did ! The driveway was a tad bit concerning when we first pulled up but my car had absolutely no trouble making it in good conditions . Thank you for the wonderful stay, Justin! We will be back.

Justin was a very easy host to communicate with during our trip. The cabin was beautiful and had a great view. The only warning I will give is that the hill to get up there is pretty steep! If you aren’t use to the mountains or driving up hills it may be a bit overwhelming.

Beautiful cabin in a beautiful setting! Very private with only one other cabin nearby. The road getting there is very steep and gravel slides some when wet, but you are in the mountains, so kind of expected. Had plenty to do in the area, and plenty of things to do in the cabin as well! Close to and easy access pigeon forge and Gatlinburg. Justin was very responsive and respectful. Highly recommend staying here.

We loved staying at Above the Clouds for our Spring Break! The cabin is close to Pigeon Forge attractions and Gatlinburg, but still far enough away from all of the hustle and bustle. We loved the hot tub and jacuzzi tub. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals. Beds were comfy, bathrooms were clean. The view from the cabin is beautiful. No visits from bears, but we did get a Wild Turkey that came to visit. Justin was awesome with communicating with us before our trip and gave us a lot of info on the surrounding area. 10/10 would stay here again!

Cabin was more than we expected! It was remote and immersed us in wildlife - daily turkey sitings and 3 black bears all in the front yard!! Justin was quick to respond with the couple questions we had during our stay. The kids loved all the games and space at the house! Bring your own pillows and towels and you will be set!

We couldn’t recommend this place enough. The views are beautiful, the place is so cozy, and also very close to everything. Our favorite part was sitting in the hot tub at sunset, it was breathtaking. The kitchen is fully equipped with pretty much everything you need to cook what you please. The couches and beds are super comfortable, and the games are so much fun to play. My husband and I stayed here this past week for our honeymoon, we absolutely loved the cabin! The view was absolutely beautiful, we enjoyed sitting out on the porch taking it all in. My husband and I were very particular about why we chose Justin's place. The view was very important. The view at Above the Clouds was amazing!!! It was so nice to wake up and to see the mountainous view. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED the games that the cabin had to offer, and we did play! A lot! We did make ourselves at home and the place was cozy to do so. We enjoyed all of the amenities. It was a great place, and we'd go back for sure! Justin was very attentive when I messaged him. Loved that!
The only thing we can say in all transparency, is if you are bougie on any level (like we are lol):
Bring your own toilet paper (they have a couple of rolls, thin paper)
Bath towels (they had 2 upstairs and 2 down) and a robe if appropriate and depending on how long your stay is, regarding both.
If you are a coffee/tea drinker, they have a machine and two coffee k-cups, after that you will have to provide your own. Bring or buy your coffee!
Bring clothes detergent wash pods (they offer 2)

Totally recommend staying here! We absolutely loved it! The cabin is located close enough to the "strip" of Pigeon Forge that it's just a 7 minute drive but it's still far enough away that you have a beautiful view of the mountains. We had a lot of fun playing fußball, pool, and ax throwing. The hot tub was the best part and we spent a lot of time in it just enjoying the view of the mountains. We stayed at the cabin pretty much the entire time during our stay and loved that it has a complete kitchen with nearly everything you need as we made all of our meals there. Don't be on the fence with this place, just book it!

The only thing i would say in the description is to make sure who ever rents this cabin will need a mid size to full size SUV or a pick up truck. It be hard for a car to make it up the mountain to the house. Put in notes to follow road all the way to the end and stay to the left so you dont go behind the neighbors house. We came up in the dark and was a little hard to navigate.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Very private however there is on neighbor pretty close to the left but we never saw them only coming and going.
Take note the driveway is pretty steep in some areas to get up to the cabin, we had no issues in our Chevy traverse.
I definitely recommend bringing your own towels for hot tub / jacuzzi and showers.
The views were beautiful!

The cabin is in a great location—secluded & quiet but not too far from everything & the view is so beautiful.
It rained for over a day before we arrived so we weren’t able to make it up the driveway the first night, but once the ground dried, it was no problem 👍
The hot tub, sauna & game tables are so great & we thoroughly enjoyed them all!
The coffee carafe was broken when we arrived & Justin was incredibly responsive. Despite it being a holiday, he had a new one sent over within a few hours! Very much appreciated!
I would recommend bringing your own coffee grounds/k cups, & large beach towels if you plan to use the hot tub. 😊

Justin was a great host! Very responsive and knowledgeable of the surrounding and when it comes to offering somethings to go check out or do. Cabin was clean, cute and cozy. If looking for total privacy with no cabins this is pretty good for that. Only one cabin next door but very nice people and is quiet and peaceful. Very close and easy drive to everything from pigeon forge to Gatlinburg. Close to things to do and food. Looking for hikes? There’s plenty near by. We have a wonderful stay for our honeymoon and would recommend to others.

This place is FANTASTIC!!!!! I have never stayed somewhere so beautiful and so clean. The views are absolutely breathtaking…. and the cabin is more beautiful than the photos. We traveled here with our 22 month old and everything was great! They have thought of it all. They had a baby gate for the stairs, a pack n play, high chair, and even kids dishes! The house was very nice. There is a neighbor but we did not ever hear them. I would definitely recommend this property for a small family, and will be looking at other properties owned by Justin for our next trip down to TN. Missing the mountains already!

Justin was an amazing host with an amazing house! We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Everything was super clean, the views were amazing, and if we needed anything Justin was always just a text away which we didn’t need for anything after we finally got checked in.
The only problem we incurred was at check-in. My husband and I have a Honda AWD CR-V and Honda Accord and even though I read the reviews encouraging renters to use AWD… I still drove the Accord. Trust me! We definitely would encourage future guests to drive AWD if you have one otherwise it’s a struggle to get up the driveway.

This place is gorgeous and very clean! Also loved that it had a stocked kitchen with plenty of top of the line dishes, pans, appliances to use. The instructions throughout the house were very helpful too! And loved the extra amenities like the sauna, hot tub and games to play. Would definitely come back!!!

This is a great cabin that sits atop a hill with a view for miles and still close to all the attractions located nicely between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We loved that its not in one of your typical stacked cabin communities!

We had a great time. The cabin offered plenty of games that kept my children occupied! The hot tub was a nice touch for the adults! It was very clean and well maintained. We got to see a black bear in the driveway of the cabin! It’s not super far from town but far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet. I would give this cabin 10 stars if I could! We really enjoyed our time there!

We had a wonderful stay, the host was quick to respond if we had any questions. The kids loved the air hockey table, gaming consoles, along with the jacuzzi! The views of the mountains from the outside deck are beautiful, especially in the morning with a cup of joe in hand. The drive up to the cabin was a bit steep, so having a 4WD is needed. The cabin is within driving distance to many attractions and local restaurants.

This cabin was absolutely perfect for our family for our GSM vacation. My kids many times would ask if we could just stay at the cabin or go back to the cabin and chill. The game tables were a huge hit with them. The cabin is very homey, and we loved that it felt secluded but was only 2 miles from the main strip.
Our hope was to see at least one bear on our trip. When we got to the cabin our first night, there was a cub up in one of the trees for several hours!
The cabin was everything we hoped it would be. It is so pretty, very clean, family friendly (something to do for all ages) and the host was very helpful and responsive. We will absolutely book this cabin again for future visits.

We had a great time at this cabin. The scenery from the porch is hard to beat. The cabin is super clean and the owner put a lot of thought into the amenities inside and out.
The only minor thing to be aware of (which the owner did clearly communicate beforehand) is that the driveway to get up to the cabin is very steep. I was glad to have 4wheel drive.

Our recent week-long stay in the Above the Clouds cabin was absolutely amazing. The cabin's location amidst the mountains provided breathtaking views. If felt like a true escape for us.
The cabin was a perfect blend of comfort and charm. With thoughtful details and modern amenities, it offered a cozy retreat where we felt right at home. The variety of local wildlife at the cabin was fun to watch and we had visitors ranging from a Broad-head Skink to a Black Bear that came through the back yard.
The location of the cabin is perfectly situated between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We spent time exploring nearby trails including Laurel Falls and Cataract Falls. Instead of Dollywood, we rode several Alpine Coasters and loved them!
In summary, we highly recommend Above the Clouds for anyone seeking a wonderful escape.

Justin’s place was amazing! The view, the hot tub, the amenities. It is was extremely clean and the location was perfect for Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and the Smokey Mountains. Great place, we got everything that was described there weren’t any surprises. The place is really nice with a great view and only one direct neighbor. Its the perfect location too right in the middle of pigeon forge and gatlinburg but still 10 min from either town so you aren’t bothered by light and noise pollution.

So many great things to say about this place. It is in a great location close to pigeon forge and not too far from gatlinburg. It has beautiful views of the mountains. Cabin is in great shape with everything updated and clean as well as many fun things to do such as the hot tub, pool table, board games, Xbox, etc. Lastly Justin was a great host being friendly, quick response time, great local recommendations, and made the whole process easy and fun. This cabin was the perfect weekend getaway for me and my partner. We didn't have any plans besides unplugging from our electronics and enjoying the amenities at the property. We definitely enjoyed using the grill to cook dinner and the fire pit right behind it to roast some marshmallows and have s'mores for dessert. The hot tub on the back porch was already heated and ready to enjoy when we got there, and the porch lighting made for a really relaxing and romantic experience. We're already thinking about when we can go back!
