Bear Family Manor

Perfect place for a multiple families. Tons of space and massive kitchens. Beds where all reported to be super comfortable. The one in the basement is a little older but still pretty good. Has lots of steps so be ware of that. Hot tub was a little small but all of us where pretty big lol. Overall great stay! Shane was quick with the responses. Will say get on wifi as quick as possible. Cell service was a little spotty with Verizon out there not completely gone but spotty. Thanks Shane for a great stay!!!

The cabin was very spacious, everyone had more than enough space. It was clean other than a few stains on some chairs and the rugs upstairs. I would definitely book this cabin again in the future. The location is relaxing and peaceful and the view was beautiful! This cabin is a great place to stay!

I stayed in Shane's property for about a week.
The area feels very private and extremely spacious, perfect for a family type gathering.
I traveled with a large group of close friends who were so satisfied with the quality of our stay were already contemplating booking for next year to make our gathering an annual occasion.
Any issues that may have arised were reported to Shane and they always respond in a timely manner.
The highlight of the space for me was the living room. Even though this property boasts multiple floors, a hot tub, and a theater, the comfort of the common room space made everyone feel at home. 10/10 experience with plenty of opportunity to have fun In the house and in the local area, which Shane also provides recommendations for.

Such a pleasant experience! Place was gorgeous and included everything! We traveled with 4 kids and there was plenty for them to enjoy and play with. Location was nice and secluded, but not too far out from the main attractions.
Shane was very helpful & made sure we were taken care of. We’ll definitely be coming back. (:

Shane's place is a nice cozy place with all the amenities to keep the kids and family comfortable . Very spacious. Easy to find and close to all the attractions. I definitely would be back and hope to rent the cabin again. Couldn't ask for anything more.

I have given five stars as my rating, even though we were not able to stay there, due to an HVAC issue and well water issues, because of the way this was handled by the property management company and Shane. They were very responsive with each of the issues that came up upon my arrival, and then offered a full refund due to the circumstances. It is a beautiful cabin and a good value.

What an amazing place. we have 12 gas and we all slept very comfortable with room to spare.
I even got an extra day at half price because somebody failed to look it for that day. and their loss. I would highly recommend this beautiful cabin!

This place was very spacious and wasn’t too far from the activities we had planned for our kids. They had more than enough dishes and cooking appliances. The only thing I would say is that the garbage space for the lock box should be more spacious for big families but that’s definitely not a deal breaker. I would definitely recommend staying here

The cabin was private and easy to get to. The driveway is a bit steep but easily accessible. We have a family of 6 and everyone had their own space to spread out and relax. The cabin was very clean and had all of the necessary items in the kitchen. The hot tub access was a bit awkward having to through a bedroom but it was very private and ready to use when we arrived. The host was very responsive when we had a question! The cabin is secluded with no viewable neighbors but is still within a 10 minute drive to town which exactly what we were looking for. Highly recommend this cabin if you are looking to get away but want to be close to local attractions.

It was a beautiful cabin in a very peaceful setting in the woods. There was plenty of entertainment to be had (TV's, Pool Table, Cinema Room, etc) and every guest enjoyed themselves thoroughly. If I was to return to this area, this would be a great place to stay again.

Let’s start by saying Shane was a really attentive host with really clear instructions on everything. This was our first time staying in Tennessee and I would love to come back and book this cabin again because of how great and peaceful our stay was in Shane’s cabin. If I’m being honest, the photos really don’t do the cabin justice, it looks even more amazing in person. This cabin will give you the real Tennessee experience while giving you peace,comfort and safety.

The cabin looks just like the pictures and is as described.. HUGE! This was a perfect place to bring my daughter and 6 of her friends for her 16th birthday! The cabin is spacious and I loved the big open space in the kitchen and living room which was great for a large group. There are three floors to the cabin which is nice to separate for large groups for sleeping purposes. Hosts were very friendly and made check in and out easy. The only recommendation I would have is a larger hot tub since the cabin fits so many guests and there is deck space to do so. Loved this cabin and would recommend to others. Great location to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg as well. Thank you for sharing this space with us!

The drive up the hill had me ready to turn around & go home. The place was beautiful, peaceful, and secluded. We loved it. Shane was very quick with responding to my messages. The wifi continued to go in and out, bt tht was expected due to the area we were located in.

Justin and Shane had a amazing cabin. It was so hard finding a cabin that accommodated toddlers, I was so scared of stairs and everything: I immediately felt peace when I seen there was baby gates, high chairs, pack and plays, it made our packing so much easier to not have to worry about those items. It was very secluded and perfect! My family and I have decided this is where we will continue to book our future vacations at this exact cabin. We look forward to being back and already have a peace of mind for coming back next year! Thanks again Shane and Justin!

We met our adult children here for a long weekend. It was everything we wanted. We had entertainment close by and enough that we could stay at the house and play games and have a meal. It was a great weekend. Shane and his team were very responsive

Very beautiful place worth the money. Fireplace and washer did not work during the stay but things happen it still would not change my mind if I was to rent from him again in the same house I would do it all over again my family had a great time

Absolutely fantastic Cabin/Lodge. SPACEOUS with tons of room to move around or relax on comfy couches, chairs, or deck furniture - well appointed everywhere. The location is peaceful and serene, but not too far from town (just 10 minutes to the Kroger on Wears Valley Rd.), and super easy to find.
The hosts (we dealt with Justin) are great about communications - very proactive, we had everything we needed well before check-in and he was good about touching base. We had one issue with the WiFi (our fault, not theirs) and they answered the phone when we called and stayed with us until it was fixed.
Bottom line, loved the property - it's big and beautiful. And the hosts are really attentive and are sincerely committed to you having a great stay. Would love to stay with these guys again!!!!
