Great place, highly recommended!!

Love the cabin it was cozy but felt larger and everyone had plenty of room. We made use of the kitchen, grill, and hit tub. We also saw 2 bears on the way to the cabin. If you drive a car or your vehicle is low to the ground park in the spot on by the road do not try and park down the drive you will bottom out.

Our family had a great time at Justin’s cabin. The beds were comfortable, the place was clean and well stocked. The hot tub was clean, and the are was very pretty! We had trouble with the upstairs game. We asked Justin, and he responded quickly. Unfortunately we didn’t have any luck. We shared the Roku remote between the main bedroom and living room, since one didn’t work. Luckily my son was able to use his phone as a remote. All in all it was a very nice place to stay and we hope to return! Thank you!

Our family enjoyed a vacation full of memories at the cabin from beginning to end. Justin was extremely kind, responsive, and knowledgeable. Check-in was a breeze. The cabin was exactly what we were expecting and hoping for. The porch and hot tub were definitely a hit. When we decide to visit Tennessee again we'll absolutely be reaching out to Justin.

Our family loved staying at the cabin. It was definitely up in the mountains and it was also very peacful, especially in the morning. We had a few visits from bears, but we kept our vehicle and cabin locked like Justin suggested. We would definitely suggest staying here.

We had a great stay at Justin’s place in the Smokey Mountains. It was a great place surrounded by trees and wildlife. Less than a 20 minute drive to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and many hiking spots which made it perfectly situated. The cabin was spotless and perfect for our family of 4. I appreciated the coupon book with local things to do to help us plan our trip. Would definitely reach out to Justin if we plan another trip to the Smokey’s!

We had a wonderful stay in our little secluded cabin up the mountain for a girls trip. Cabin was clean and had the necessities. The internet wasn’t working but thankfully we had good company to keep us entertained! Hot tub was nice and had a good view too.

They were very helpful and gave us detailed instructions. The cabin had a beautiful view and the hot tub was excellent! The only thing that we did not like was that check in was at 4 pm and checkout was 10am. We just thought the check in was too late and the check out was too early. We understand that we were only there for a day stay, however we feel this is not a very convenient nor realistic option for most travelers and of course for us.

Cool cabin in the mountains. A winding drive ending in a fun cabin stay. an update to the very chipped kitchen knives is needed, but that was the only real issue we ran into. everything else was as advertised. would stay again!

Once again, we had outstanding time. This was our second time in 2 months, to stay at Justin's Perfect Cabin in the Woods, and we loved every minute. He is extremely responsive! We had a little issue with the lock key because we arrived extremely late and the code wouldn't work for some reason, but Justin and the hotline were extremely helpful. I say this to say: If you have any type of issue, don't hesitate to reach out. Justin communicates extremely well with you: No matter the time! We also loved all the furniture upgrades that were made since we visited in June!! Our twin boys love everything about the cabin, including the games!! We were suppose to stay until Monday but due to a family situation, we weren't able to stay the entire time. Justin was so great about everything!! I would highly recommend this cabin or any of Justin's listings to everyone I know!! Definitely worth every penny!! I can't wait to go back again!

The cabin and the location were wonderful. The code to get in didn't work but the phone number we were given before arrival was answered immediately and we were able to get in with the lock box key within minutes. By that evening we had a new code. The arcade games were a huge hit with our boys and we all enjoyed the hot tub every night. We did see a bear one morning right outside the bedroom window, so that was cool. The place was SUPER clean and that's hard to do in a cabin. Spiders and other creepy crawlies have a way of getting in. The only thing I would warn visitors of is that there is NOTHING supplied. Most air bnb's I've stayed in have some left over stuff from previous guests (salt and pepper, other spices, cleaning products, sometimes even left over laundry supplies) and this place had none of that. Nothing was promised so Justin isn't at fault. Just a caution that if you want salt, better bring your own. Overall 9.5/10 and would definitely recommend. Thanks Justin!

My family and I stayed here for a week. Overall, it was a nice stay. The hot tub and washer and dryer were a nice extra touch. We spent a lot of time in the Smokies and this location was great for us. Only a 10-15 min drive.

Was a lovely place to have a little get away. Loved being able to sit on the porch with my youngest son that was 2 because it's screened in! The family loved that we were able to see a bear on the way up to a cabin!

The cabin was great! It was the perfect fit for my family of five and in laws. We saw two bears which made the whole stay worth it. It is secluded and quiet. We loved sitting out on the porch playing cards, in fact that was one of the times we saw a bear. The driveway is a tad narrow so we parked at the top of the drive and on the gravel above the home but there were minimal cars driving around so it was not an issue at all!

Family vacation to the Smokies was amazing. Cabin was great for our family of 5. Location was perfect being 25 mins from both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Kids loved seeing the wildlife. (Lots of turkeys, chipmunks, and we had a bear visitor!) Justin was an awesome host and made sure we were well taken care of every step of the way. We will definitely be back!

We loved this cabin tucked away in the woods. It was perfect for my family! The boys loved the video games. We loved sitting on the front porch. Everything we needed was there. The hot tub was a plus. We had a little trouble in the driveway backing in, but other than that everything else was fine. We had a mama bear and her cub come up onto the porch! I was amused that the mama bear pulled open the door to leave the porch 😆 the cub climbed up the tree in front of the hot tub which was fun to watch! We recommend going to Cades Cove for more bear sightings! We saw a total of 26 the day we went. We had a wonderful vacation!

Our stay at the cabin was wonderful! Justin was very responsive, addressed our minor questions/concerns and made check-in and out a breeze. It was clean, well maintained and stocked with essentials for our stay.
The cabin is toward the top of the mountain, peaceful and worth the drive to the top. It is right in the middle of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge! I would recommend it if you’re hoping to explore both areas. Be on the lookout for wildlife in the area! We saw multiple bears; two on our porch within an hour of checking in and more on our way up and down the mountain.

Highlight of our trip was a momma bear and her 3 cubs venturing around the cabin! Overall, cabin was clean and had the basic necessities for cooking in. Hot tub was nice and clean. The driveway is steep and narrow but most are in the mountains from my experience. Our family had a great time here!

Very clean, didn't spend much time here we were at basketball tournaments for my granddaughter. Sleeping was comfortable. The road to the cabin was steep and twisty especially at night coming back.very nice cabin.

Beautiful location, and central to everything as well. Just a short drive to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. Ton's to do in the surrounding areas. Cabin was super cute with all the decor, and was easy to get into. The hot tub was perfect on the cold morning, and was clean. The driveway getting to the house is pretty steep, and there isn't much light to get down to the bottom at night, just something to be careful about. Only other complaint was there wasn't any extra toilet paper, or paper towel, only 1 roll each. Overall we had a great time, and would come back! Had a great time, and were sad to leave.

First off let me say this is not my first time in Gatlinburg. I visit yearly but always stay in a hotel so this year I switched it up and I loved it! The views, the peacefulness, the cabin all immaculate. I will say the first day getting to the cabin was a little scary w the high peaks and winding road. I definitely should’ve rented an suv but my 2020 Camry did good but had it snowed or been icy I would’ve been in trouble so if you’re a texans in a regular car maybe rent something durable for that climate. But that’s on me not at all on Justin or the cabin I just threw that in to help someone else in the future but the cabin itself was amazing and I truly appreciated the hot tub after two big hikes! The beds were comfy and it rained one night so I could hear the rain on the tin roof and loved it! I’ll definitely be back and I can’t wait to make more memories here! The cabin was amazing to stay at!! We saw a bear five minutes before we even checked in! The driveway was difficult to park in with the slippery leaves and slope so we parked off the road which was super easy. I would definitely stay again.

What a great place to stay. So close to the GSM and to Gatlinburg. Justin was great with communication and made sure our stay was amazing. The space was very cozy and beautiful. I do need to mention that we drove in with our 24’ Class B RV pulling a Jeep. So glad we unhooked the Jeep and drove separately into the neighborhood. Roads in are narrow, steep, and winding. We loved our stay! Justin was a great host. very responsive and helpful. The cabin is so cozy and felt like home. It was perfect for our family. The game area in the loft was perfect for our kids. My husband and I felt we was able to sleep peacefully, with the kids sleeping right upstairs in the open loft area. The hot tub was clean and was already the perfect temperature for us when we were ready. We even got to see a mama bear and two baby cups. What a great place to stay. We will definitely be back!! 5 stars for sure!

The cabin was excellent and exactly as described in listing. All though it was smaller than aperture’s in pictures it fits the needs and a peaceful place to stay. We are a family of seven and had plenty of space. Very nice cozy cabin.

We had s great stay! And we had a Momma black bear and 3 cubs walk within 10 feet of us while we were in the hot tub! Leave the wild life alone, and normally they will leave you alone. It was a memory that will never be forgotten!

We stayed at Justin's place in September 2023 to enjoy the Smokies and the many attractions the local area has to offer. Justin left clear instructions and was responsive with any questions I may have had. The cabin is in a great location - 15/20 minutes from the main drag in Pigeon Forge and downtown Gatlinburg. The hot tub was a great feature after a day of hiking! I'd absolutely recommend this spot to anyone looking to spend time in the area.

We had an incredible stay! It was perfect for our family of 4. Close enough to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, but far out enough that it was nice and quiet. It had everything we needed and more, and it was very kid and toddler friendly. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to get away!

Very nice house , perfect location , we drived 30 min to Smokey Mountains, roads enjoyable, we saw a Bear in first day in forest , no animals around the house .And this house is a perfect choice for vacation in that area , everything been clean , house has a smell like a tree this gives perfect emotions,very quiet around .recommend 100%

We thoroughly enjoyed our family vacation at "Bears in the Mist". We actually saw a momma bear and her three cubs right outside the cabin!! Thankful for the screened in porch to watch them from! The cabin was what we expected and we felt very comfortable. Overall, it was clean (towels and linens were clean) but could use a good deep clean again (cob webs, etc.). The quilts and pillow shams on the beds in the loft looked dingy (or well used) but our boys didn't mind (or notice) one bit. The cabin was accommodating for families with children - there was a highchair (looked brand new), as well as children's plates/bowls/cups/cutlery. I never found the pack'n'play (maybe I didn't look in the right spot..?) but we brought our own anyway. Just for future reference for families that need one.
Justin was very responsive before and during our stay, especially when we had a little trouble with getting into the cabin. He was a very helpful host and we appreciate him letting us stay in his cabin!

This cabin was perfect for our family of five. We enjoyed the rustic traditional cabin feel. The cabin was very clean and Justin was quickly responsive when we had a question about something. Our kids loved the game machine and we did too. The cabin was also in a great location. We were easily able to visit the towns of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg whenever we wanted to venture out. We cannot wait to return.

Our first trip to the Smoky Mountains with a cabin stay. A just right cabin, not to big or small. A beautiful, interesting, drive to the top of the ridge. Everything worked like it should. Enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after a full day of exploration. We had rain during the stay and enjoyed the screened in porch. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
