It's an ideal spot for unwinding after a day of adventure, with the soothing waters and stunning views creating a perfect retreat. When you're ready to venture out, the cabin offers access to a seasonal community pool and is the perfect place to spend warm summer days (typically from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day).

Note: There are only 2 designated parking spots for our property – one to the Left of the Property and One as you come up the hill before you get to the property

It was an awesome cabin with a spectacular view! The kids loved seeing our regular bear visits! The location was perfect to go to area attractions! The cabin was so well equipped with all our needs meet!!

It’s been a long time since I’ve been to the smokies so I wasn’t sure what to expect! It was super nice area, away from town which is what we wanted. We only left one time for the four days we were there, besides going to the pool which was also great! Overall it was a great experience, we seen bears, we had a blast!

Great place! Might’ve been nice to have a third trash bag or an extra dishwasher tab since you can’t really buy singles anywhere, but overall it was fabulous!

We had a great first trip to Gatlinburg and the cabin was beautiful! Stunning views. Quiet area. Loved the chairs and table on the deck with the hot tub. Hosts are very responsive to messages and willing to help with whatever you need. Will definitely see if the cabin is available next time we visit!

Bigfoot's Hideout was perfect for our family Spring Break getaway. Shane and Justin had the place spotless for our easy check-in. The location was far enough in the mountains to get the Smokey Mountain feel, but still close enough to downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge so it wasn't a long drive to keep the kids busy! Would definitely recommend!

This property was great! Despite the weather being unseasonably warm (which put a damper on our hopes of enjoying Ober) and the hot tub not being usable the first night due to a cleaning mistake, we had a great time. More importantly, our toddler really enjoyed all the games available, and the fact that he had his own bunk bed to sleep in! The owner was super responsive (including getting the hot tub issue resolved as quickly as possible) throughout the visit. Roads getting up to the unit are very windy but easy to handle, just mentioning it as a forewarning to anyone with road anxiety, etc. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to Gatlinburg!

A beautiful and peaceful place!! We loved how the cabin was set up on the inside and that the bedrooms were on the bottom floor. Loved the back porch and view! Only thing is needs more garbage bags, dishwasher pods, towels and washcloths.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The views were breathtaking! You can see Ober from the balcony in the back & we got to see bears twice. It felt like we were at home with everything needed available to cook. Every room had its own private bathroom & the half bathroom upstairs as well which was very much appreciated.

Our stay at Bigfoot’s Hideout was great. The cabin was gorgeous, the view was amazing and seeing bears walk on and around the property was so cool. The cabin was a short drive to downtown Gatlinburg, the national park and Pigeon Forge. We had everything we needed while at the cabin. The host was very responsive when I messaged him. We would definitely stay there again.

ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING! The views are PHENOMENAL! Great for large families! We enjoyed our stay ! There is very active bears in the area but it was totally worth it! My kids loved it! They also have a play-pin for babies and a highchair which was great! Definitely recommend!

Easy, responsive host. Messages answered quickly. The cabin was as described in the listing, my grandkids really enjoyed the pool table and hockey game. The hot tub was great for relaxing after a long day. And seeing a bear right outside the cabin every day was a thrilling treat.

This place was beyond what words can describe. The views from the balcony, down to the cool big foot themed cabin. Everything was great. Our family had an unforgettable time. We also had the pleasure of seeing bears almost every day. It was an amazing experience. Shane was super communicative and helpful with any questions.
