Cades Cove Escape

Fabulous place to stay to visit the smokies! Absolutely recommend Justin and this home, we had a wonderful time enjoying the game room and the proximity to the park.

The house was very clean and all necessities needed in the kitchen.
Justin was very quick to respond when we were having issues with the key code to get in the house.
The kids loved the pool table, air hockey table and game console downstairs.
The only thing that was not mentioned is that there is a golf course right by the property and we would have brought golf clubs if we would have known. You can rent golf clubs if you want to.
Overall, it was a great stay and I would definitely rent from Justin again.

The cabin was great! The main floor had a spacious great room and nice kitchen. The bedrooms on the main floor were mirror images of each other, which made things easy. Both were plenty big with very nice bathrooms. The downstairs was perfect for 4 young kids, they enjoyed the pool table and air hockey table. The pull out couch was also a big hit. The bedrooms worked well for them also. The main deck was great for the adults in the evenings and night. The kids enjoyed the hot tub. The only hiccups were the arcade game not having a power cord and not having a code to get through the gate at night. Luckily a resident was kind enough to give us theirs
The location was also great, it was nice being away from busy Pigeon Forge. Townsend is a very nice area, that is an easy drive to so many activities. The neighborhood was nice and quiet also. We would stay there again and would highly recommend it to other families. Our 2 families very much enjoyed it.

We absolutely loved this location from the moment you walk in to the time you leave it was amazing experience. Everyone enjoyed family bonding through the on sight games. Me and my wife loved the hot tub the view was amazing. We would definitely come back and it is Highly recommend Thank you guys so much

Justin is a great host. Responds quickly. The home was as beautiful as the pictures with plenty of dishes & utensils. Enough towels for everyone. We did get to witness a bear going up the hill in front of the house. The hot tub was nice. House was clean & amenities were fun.

Justin was a great host start to finish! Instructions on everything we needed to know before arriving. He even checked in during our stay to make sure we were settled in and everything was going good. House is absolutely beautiful and so much space inside and out!

My wife and I really enjoyed this cabin. It’s on a dead end street and very private. We usually dont use the hot tubs but this was too inviting and we used it everyday. Another plus is there is a lot of thought to detail like blankets in the living areas and kitchen tools. Finally, while we didn't need Justin, he definitely was very responsive in the booking process and gave me the sense he would be quick to help on any issues.

Wonderful stay! This was one of our favorite Airbnbs ever, and was the perfect launching spot for Smoky Mountain hikes (25 minutes away), and day trips to the Pigeon Forge area (45-50 mins away). Our crew of 4 adults and 5 kids had plenty of room to spread out in the porch, main area, bedrooms, basement, and hot tub. Thank you Justin and team for a great stay!

Felt right at home, lots of stuff to do right there at the cabin for the whole family. Open floor plan, Televisions in every room, great out door space in front and back of cabin. Really enjoyed the hot tub in the crisp air! Justin responded quickly and was very helpful. Easy check in and out, we’ll be back for sure!

This stay is a pure gem. An absolute perfect place for family & friends. Plenty of closet space in each room. 3 full baths 4 bedrooms one including a bunk bed that is two full beds much larger then the pictures give justice. TVs in every room with Roku. Open living room space and kitchen. Very clean Two spacious back porches down & upstairs with furniture. Spacious front porch with furniture. Hot tub amenity that’s hot and ready when you show up. Gaming room including n64 & Xbox 360 with games/arcade. 10 mins away from gas station/ IGA and very good restaurants, coffee shops and general stores. Justin is a very responsive & informative host that provides a book of suggestions and coupons for the area. 11/10. Highly recommended for the Townsend and surrounding areas.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this cabin. With its 3 beautiful porches there is serenity for everyone. It was so cool to be relaxing in the hot tub and have a huge black bear come walking right by. It was an extremely rainy week with a hurricane coming thru, but we never got bored with the awesome game room. Our host was incredible with any issues that arose. I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming cabin in Townsend hosted by Justin,, and it was an experience that exceeded all my expectations! Nestled near the breathtaking Smoky Mountains, this cabin offered the perfect blend of tranquility and adventure.
From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the natural beauty surrounding the cabin. The views of the mountains were absolutely stunning, The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated, making it feel like a true home away from home.
One of the highlights of my stay was the outdoor space. I loved sipping my morning coffee on the porch while soaking in the fresh air.
Justin was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Their recommendations for local restaurants and attractions were spot on, making my visit even more enjoyable.
Overall, my stay at the cabin in Townsend was a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Our family of 7 really enjoyed staying here. It was clean, easy to get to and a peaceful location. We especially loved the screened back porch/deck and game room. It's about a 7ish minute drive up the mountain from Townsend, with a steep hill or two, but totally doable. I grew up in Pigeon Forge and have heard about and stayed in some really over used and run down cabins that weren't as pictured. This cabin was not that. It was clean and just as pictured and described.
There were minimal check out requirements, which was great. The only issue we ran into was there was no dumpster where it was supposed to be when we tried to drop our trash off. We left because we had already checked out and passed the truck bringing the dumpster back. This was just bad timing and in no way the cabin owner's fault. They did say to leave the trash, but like I said, we already checked out and left. Thankfully, picnic areas like Metcalf Bottoms have public dumpsters. Overall, great stay. Highly reccommend

We loved our stay at the cabin! There was plenty of space for the 6 of us. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the views from the decks, and even saw a bear in the woods the first night. It was great to come back after our adventures and relax and play some pool, air hockey, and video games! We would definitely stay again

If I could, I would give this cabin 6 stars out of 5! The place was easy to get to with GPS, nestled in a quiet, spacious community - no other property was visible or audible from the cabin. The cabin was much larger than I expected and could very comfortably host two families. The entire cabin was nothing short of luxurious for a family of four, comfortable beds and large furniture did NOT make the place feel small. TWO stories of back porches look out into the dense forest had me convinced I'd see wildlife waltzing by at every moment, whilst perched 30 ft high in the treetops. A screened in porch made it comfortable to relax without fear of mosquitos, & the sounds of joyous playing of arcade, pool, and air hockey from my kids inside was thankfully muted by the time I went outside. Every amenity was thoughtfully anticipated and provided for all ages, from baby gates/toddler dish ware, to xbox games on an oversized TV screen, to separate floors for the adults! No thin walls here. A+++

Our group consisted of 3 families with ages ranging from 9-38 (4 kids and 6 adults). We stayed for the weekend to attend a festival in Townsend. We’re considering making this an annual trip, and will definitely consider staying here again! The kids enjoyed the game room on lower level, so they stayed down there most of the time. The location of the cabin is in a neighborhood right near the golf course, but the cabin itself is pretty secluded. Parking was tight for 3 families (we had 4 vehicles), but we made it work. The host contacted us prior to and upon arrival. He gave us plenty of information about things to do, along with coupons. Overall, great stay and memories made!

The cabin was lovely! Everything was very clean and Justin was friendly and helpful. The photos are accurate to the listing, if anything they fail to capture just how stunning the cabin is! I could spend hours on that back deck and never be sick of the view. We loved the hot tub and had tons of fun in the game room.
A note to any future renters: The location is gorgeous, but it is in the mountains and some of the roads, including the one the cabin is located on, are pretty steep. We rented a big SUV which definitely helped. Just make sure you have a reliable vehicle and you will be fine.
All in all it was definitely worth it and I would stay here again!

We had a great time. The house is so cozy and well appointed. The kids loved the game room. I loved sitting out on the screened in back proch while listening to nature. This is a house you stay at to relax and go into Townsend eat come back to and the kids continue the while the adults can relax, or day trips. It is a bit of a drive to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The drive is beautiful winding roads. The views are to die for. The cafe in Townsend had really nice people, simple but good food. Tuckaleechee Caverns is a great day trip. But our favorite was the Parrot Mountain and Gardens. The birds are beautiful and it's a real experience. The trip was great. We ill definitely be back!

What a beautiful home, nestled on the side of the mountain. The game room and hot tub were an added bonus. the location is perfect with a lot to do in Townsend, GSM and surrounding areas with just a short drive. Justin was a great host. 10/10 would stay here again, wish we didn't have to leave!

This home is absolutely beautiful and clean . The only 3 issues we had was the parking in driveway. It was tight squeeze for 3 cars . The other was cold down stairs , they did have 2 little heaters and a lot of blankets . The last one is the tv in master room did not work.

We had a great time at the cabin. It is a beautiful place to stay and it’s not a bad drive to get to pigeon forge or other surrounding areas. The beds are some of the best beds I’ve slept in away from home. The basement was freezing cold but is a fun space to hang out with kids. The only thing I wish was different is the lighting outside by the hot in. You can’t see anything out there. Otherwise everything was great and I would come back!

This beautiful cabin was a perfect oasis for our group of 6. Justin has thought of everything! From a highchair and playpen to laundry detergent. The beds are incredibly comfortable and made for a great nights rest each night. We enjoyed ourselves and would definitely return to this cozy cabin.

I can't say enough good things about this little town or this beautiful cabin. There's honestly nothing I'd have wanted to change. The cabin fit our needs perfectly and it's cozy peaceful atmosphere made us feel right at home. I didn't feel like I had just walked into an AB&B but instead into someone's home. This cabin is well loved and it shows. Justin touched base with us a couple times to confirm we had everything we needed and was very helpful in suggesting local attractions as well. We definitely plan on making this cabin part of our annual trip to the mountains... we absolutely loved our stay at Cades Cove Escape!!!

We loved our stay at this gorgeous cabin! The views driving to the cabin and at the cabin were beautiful. The cabin looks exactly like the pictures and was very clean. The beds were super comfortable and we all agreed we slept well every night. The neighborhood felt safe. We did have an issue with a broken toilet (things like that are bound to happen) and Justin was responsive and had someone come out the next day to get it fixed for us which we appreciated. I will definitely try to stay at this cabin again!!

As a family we wanted a peaceful stay after my husbands first chemo treatment. This house was over and beyond what we expected. The view is exceptional and we were very close to Grand Lake and park entrance. We had 8 people and it worked out perfectly. House is fully stocked with all the essentials you would need to cook meals and entertain. We loved the moments around fireplace and the large dining area. Would recommend 100%. We hope to be back in the future.

The cabin was absolutely gorgeous from the moment we walked in it felt cozy and clean. There were plenty of supplies like coffee and toilet paper. Blankets to snuggle under and tons of pillows and extra blankets.
Justin was really fast at replying and dealing with the one issue we had. He was an incredible host.
The area was quiet and not busy at all. We were surrounded by trees and even had a bear sighting on the first night!
The two king bedrooms were on the main floor and the queen and bunk room were downstairs and shared a bathroom.
We would absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful spacious home, you are basically in the middle of woods. It kind of feels like you are "glamping" (luxurious camping). We enjoyed our stay there and even saw a bear. We also heard a couple of things moving around at night. I'm not sure what they were because I was too sleepy check, but I never felt unsafe. The road to the house can be intimidating at first but once you drive through it a couple of times you get used to it. If you are staying longer than 3 days, I would suggest bringing your own toiletries because the provided hotel size bottles will run out. For some reason the listing states that a washer and drier are not available, but they are. The game room is a nice touch specially since most of the town is closed by 9pm. There is a local market its about 25-30 mins away. Everything is a bit of drive though. The guide they provide is very helpful and I highly suggest you check out the Tuckaleechee Caverns. My family and I would stay there again.

Beautiful spacious property perfect for our multigenerational family. The large great room was perfect for us all to hang out together and cook meals together, we all loved the game room downstairs, and we were all happy at night to have our own comfortable spaces to relax. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were spacious, too. There are also many porches in the front and the back of the house which we all loved! The location of the house was very peaceful and provided easy access to the park! Cades Cove was easily reached as well as all the major routes through the park without having to go through busy gaitlinburg. We were so glad we were in the small town of Townsend instead of the very touristy towns of gaitlinburg or pigeon forge. The wildlife was abundant in the neighborhood!! We saw turkey, deer, and a few bears along the roads around the house! We even had a bear in the driveway one morning!! Truly unforgettable experience for the grandkids!! We would definitely rent this beautiful house again!

The cabin is great! Would recommend to anyone! The location is just out of Townsend so perfect for Cades Cove / Smokey Mountain visitors and not too far from the Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg areas . Check in and check out was easy (all on line). And the key codes for the door means no office visits at check in or out. The cabin was clean and nicely furnished. We had plenty of pots and pans for cooking, the game room is great and the beds were comfortable! Looks no further!

I have stayed in multiple VRBO rentals, and have never had a host like this one. They went above and beyond for us from the time I booked all the way through checkout. They even let me make a last minute date change so my son could make his baseball tournament. The cabin was awesome, and had everything you would need to entertain the 5 kids we had with us. We could not be more thrilled with our stay at Cade’s Cove. The property was large enough to comfortably accommodate our 11-person party while offering a clean space and plenty of entertainment. Any amenity you could imagine was conveniently provided, from a well-stocked kitchen to plenty of extra pillows and blankets. The kids in our crew loved the game room and bunk room and the adults enjoyed the hot tub each night. The property is nestled in a small neighborhood in the mountains and feels plenty private. It’s about a 40-minute drive to the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge areas. We loved being away from the crowds. Beautiful hikes just outside of Townsend in SMNP. Justin was an incredibly helpful and highly responsive host. We highly recommend this property!

The place was super clean, worth every penny, exactly as described! I would definitely recommend it to others especially it fits big families.
The area was very safe and quiet, the only thing you need to keep in mind that you need to drive about 40 mins to reach to the Pigeon Forge activities.

This cabin was more than we expected! Our group was 12 including 4 kids alot to do inside was a lil far from gatlingburg & pigeon forge but worth the view on the way there alot of mountains views ,was very comfortable cabin 2 floors the hot tub was bigger than expected we had everything we needed for the kitchen , we spend in the last night of our stay using inside amenities like pool table and hockey table the kids playing with xbox and we had a blast !! We come to Cades Cove every year in the spring. This time we tried this listing in Townsend. We wanted to support locals as we too have a business in our community. You couldn’t ask for a better place. My wife and I found the hidden gem in the mountains. The place was spotless, had all the essentials already there when we arrived. Just bring your groceries and your appetite to just chill if you want too. We spent most of the days at Cades Cove and relaxed at night at this gem. You can drive from Cades Cove straight to the neighborhood. Amazing! The game room, was awesome. One night we played the arcade game until the early morning. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. We will be back. Thanks for allowing us to stay.

Wow, where do I even start? This beautiful cabin had everything we could have asked for and more. We did not want to leave! The hosts were extremely helpful, easy to get a hold of, and quick to respond to any questions. It was very evident as to why they have a "Super Host" rating! The cabin was furnished beautifully and everything was sparkling clean. We appreciated many small touches, such as an ample supply of extra pillows and blankets, spices in the cabinet, kid friendly plates and cups (in addition to lovely adult dinnerware, wine glasses and coffee mugs), coffee and creamer, comfy, plush throw blankets - I could go on and on! I have a 5 month old baby and was blown away that the hosts had even provided a high chair and pack and play in the event someone had forgotten something like that for their little one. The cabin was definitely kid friendly and our children loved the awesome game room as well as the extra touches included there - books and board games and all sorts of fun stuff! The furniture and bedding were superbly comfortable and made for wonderful places to rest after a fun filled day. We also enjoyed the serenity of the lovely porches and took advantage of enjoying the sounds and sights of nature while relaxing in the awesome hot tub. If I could give this place 10 stars I would! We will definitely be back when we can stay longer. Thanks again to Justin and Kari for a wonderful experience. I would recommend this property a million times over!

This place is more than I expected. Everything about the pictures and the description are true! What they left out was the feeling you get in this home. The feel of this home when sitting on the private back porches is like sitting in a treehouse that you dreamed about when you were a kid. Just peaceful, beautiful, and relaxing. I could feel all the stresses of the world disappear when I walked into this home. I enjoyed watching the birds and especially the squirrels jumping from tree to tree, just a few feet away. It was so nice to get away from the real world for a short time. We will definitely be renting this home again.
Extra clean hot tub was a major plus!

We had a great time. The house is so cozy and well appointed. The kids loved the game room. I loved sitting out on the screened in back proch while listening to nature. This is a house you stay at to relax and go into Townsend eat come back to and the kids continue the while the adults can relax, or day trips. It is a bit of a drive to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The drive is beautiful winding roads. The views are to die for. The cafe in Townsend had really nice people, simple but good food. Tuckaleechee Caverns is a great day trip. But our favorite was the Parrot Mountain and Gardens. The birds are beautiful and it's a real experience. The trip was great. We ill definitely be back!

Justin was a great host. Home was spotless clean and exactly as described. Felt right at home with all the amenities. Great game room and hot tub. We highly recommend the home and the host. And to top it off only 20 min from Cades Cove and saw 38 bears in 2 days. Thank you Justin for allowing us to use your beautiful home.

We loved our stay with our family which consisted of my husband, myself our 15 year old son, my brother, his wife and their 15 year old son. The cabin was equipped with everything you need especially the kitchen which was great because we love to cook. The kids loved the gameroom and so did we! The hot tub was wonderful especially after a long day of walking. The bedrooms were spacious and clean along with the rest of the cabin. Loved having our coffee on the back porch and enjoying nature at its finest. We were excited to see bear, turkeys, chipmunks and deer right from the back porch. Excellent communication with Justin. He messaged me back promptly if I had a question and was very thorough with helping our stay enjoyable. We will definitely be back!

We had such a wonderful week in a beautiful home away from home! It was spotless, well-stocked, so relaxing, and the views off the decks were amazing! The hot tub and “rec room” were a hit with the kids, and it was perfect for our family’s spring break. We definitely will be back!

This cabin home is definitely home away from home. Our family from 5 months old to 71 years old thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It looks exactly as listed and was very comfortable. Not to mention, it's in perfect driving range for things to do locally or in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We highly recommend renting this cabin with your friends/family!
