Carefree Hideaway

The hosts thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. Many amenities for pets and having a high hair and crib for babies was awesome. My husband has disabilities and the entry from parking to the house was paved and level, the shower had many handrails in very strategic positions and the large bench to sit on was perfect for him.
Communication was rapid and accurate.

Was an absolutely amazing stay! We brought our dog and we all felt right at home. When we come back we will definitely be coming back here! Private, and close to everything. Super cozy!!

It was a pleasant time staying at Shane’s place with my family we enjoyed the foosball table along with the comfortable outside area to drink coffee and enjoy the outside area unfortunately we didn’t see any bears this trip but maybe next time definitely would stay there again in the future

Shane was very quick and responsive to all of my questions. He’s extremely nice, very clean very nice and a wonderful private getaway. That is literally 15 minutes between pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Very cute, affordable and clean place that made you feel right at home. Very safe to bring your fur babies, Fence in backyard. Did not want to leave to come home. Next to a grocery store and all that you need and great restaurants. But most of all a wonderful host who gets back to you right away and really actually cares about your stay in meeting all your needs highly highly recommend staying here.

The house looked just like the photos, it was all on one floor which was perfect for a person in a wheel chair. Easy to get in to the cement to the front door was great. Drive way was rough and finding the house the first time was a little interesting. ( wouldn't suggest a car for this house) Had everything you can think of which was great (grateful for the packnplay for the baby). Beds where comfortable and low to the ground. The backward was nice, it was all enclosed so the kids couldn't fall down the hill and it was pretty flat. The porch was nice with the chairs, the hot tub and the picnic table.
Loved this house would go back, didn't really have to reach out to the owners but when we did they answered questions in a very timely manner.

This place was beautiful and perfect for our family vacation! We loved the fenced in yard for our dog and spent every night in the relaxing hot tub. It was so peaceful, the house was beautiful and had every we needed, and was very close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

Shane’s place was perfectly described and met every need we had! A perfect place for us to bring our two dogs and relax for the weekend with family. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had most everything we needed, and the large dog crate was a great help!! We will be back!

This cabin was the perfect space for our family and two little furry friends. Everything was so cozy and inviting when we arrived. The fenced in yard was a gamechanger, as we were able to let our pups run around after being in the crate while we were gone exploring. The cabin was well equipped with kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, and bedding essentials. The hot tub was great for relaxing after busy days, and we enjoyed sitting around the fire in the evening. I'm pretty sure we also had some dart champions by the time we checked out, lol. Thank you for a wonderful home away from home while we enjoyed our family vacation. As we left, it was voted on that we would definitely return to this cabin when we came for another visit to the area!Blessings,The Hender Family

This home had everything we needed for our stay. The backyard had a fire pit, hot tub, a television and a great views. Our dogs loved the fenced in yard.

This place was beautiful and private. We enjoyed the hot tub & the back are was perfect for our dog & children. Beds are very comfortable. If you like to be out of the way but still in driving distance to everything it’s perfect! They had everything we needed from towels to kitchen essentials. Our kids enjoyed the games & theater rooms. It rained at our stay and we didn’t mind because the porch was covered and we still grilled & enjoyed the back deck. The hosts are so kind and always checking in to make sure you’re comfortable!

This place was PERFECT. Clean, safe neighborhood, perfect for our 2 big dogs. Movie room was awesome, backyard is beautiful and fully fenced in, beds were comfortable, we had everything we needed. Only a 15 minute drive to everything. Pretty mountain view during winter time. The host was quick to respond. Would 100% stay again and recommend to everyone!

This place was just as described. The fenced yard for the dog was great. The fact that the hot tub is cleaned after each stay is a definite A+. Shane was very responsive with any and all questions. As mentioned in previous reviews if you have a low riding vehicle you may want to proceed with caution.

Enjoyed our stay, very well equipped.Location is convenient to most everything . Beds comfortable , appreciated the items available for our puppy. Crate, leash ,etc. Our only negative was the driveway it’s was very rough and because of the rain and snow very muddy. Did see there was a pile of gravel close to the entrance so maybe that will be better later. Would stay at this property again.

Loved the house. Will start staying here from now on. We come about 8 to 12 times a year. If house is available we will stay here again. Area neighborhoods little rough but no problems. House is super nice and very clean. Great host and friendly.

Our stay with Shane was perfect honeymoon get away with out two dogs! Shane even had a leash, crate and poop bags! Was a treasure for dog lovers like us! The fenced in yard also gave them plenty of running room! Close to many local attractions! House and amenities was exactly as listed! Towels, kitchen supplies and even stuff for an emergency load of laundry! Shane was super responsive! 10/10 recommend

We spent a quiet weekend in the cabin. We really liked the decoration, the furniture and the very comfortable beds, and everything was very clean. I highly recommend it.thank you Shane for you hospitality . And another thing that I loved was the hot tub area 👍 10/10

Before coming to the property we were informed well before the visit about what we can do around the area (even provided coupons to use), was welcomed very kindly, and got all of the information we needed for the property. We arrived and the house looked great and had plenty of supplies and welcoming vibes. The beds were comfortable and everything worked well. Loved the movie room! That's where we were when we were not out honestly. This place provided a good fenced in yard for our dogs and it was great to feel comfortable to let them run and play. Road to it is a little wrough, but we also had a lot of rain before a hurricane that contributed to it. Over all we enjoyed our stay!

The property is well maintained. Hardest thing when staying at cabins is typically the mattress, for some reason they’re never kept up. This property had the best mattresses outside of higher tiered hotels. The kitchen was well stocked with anything we needed and more. Owners provided all basic starter supplies for the stay. Would definitely stay here again for another spring or summer trip. Quite a little farther back than expected so wouldn’t suggest for a winter time stay unless you have a full 4x4.

Everything was as advertised. Great location to where we went (Titanic Museum, alcatraz, Dolly Parton Stampede Dinner). Communication with property owners was great.

This is a lovely home that modern, well decorated and very comfortable for a place to call home for a few days. The location is convenient to many local attractions and cities like Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. It came well equipped with all of the amenities that make me wonder why anyone would ever stay in a hotel. To top it off there was a video/game room that would allow families to enjoy some time bonding together while playing games and watching movies. I am impressed!
