We had a great time here! The cabin and views were beautiful and the location was extremely convenient! Our young children had a blast and enjoyed seeing the bears during the drive to the property!! 10/10 recommend!

This cabin was perfect for a mountain getaway. This was our first time in the Smokies and it did not disappoint! This was probably one of the cleanest and well-kept air bnb’s we’ve stayed in. We had everything we needed in our home away from home. It was close to everything we wanted to do and the views were great. We enjoyed coffee on the deck in the mornings and soaking in the hot tub in the evenings. Justin was great at replying to any questions we had along the way!

This cabin is so spacious and amazing. The views are beautiful. The inside of the cabin is very nice. We had a wonderful time from just watching tv on the couch to playing pool and sitting outside.

What a gem in the mountains! Loved the cabin! I felt relaxed as soon as I walked in! Very comfortable and inviting, inside and out! I enjoyed sitting on the deck and taking in the nature and sights around me and even got to watch a bear in the yard while sitting out there! Watching the sunset while soaking in the hot tub was a beautiful experience I will not forget!

As beautiful as the pictures are, it's even more beautiful in person! The house is decorated so tastefully, with a woodsy vibe but up-to-date and modern. It is clean, has everything you might need. The views are absolutely breathtaking!! The property is private but with a few surrounding houses - we weren't completely isolated, which made us feel comfortable. It's quiet and serene. We enjoyed the house so much that we didn't feel the need to leave it much for outings. Staying in the house and enjoying the amenities was so enjoyable! Justin is extremely helpful and responsive. Please don't hesitate to book this property, we don't believe there's a better option out there. We can't wait to come back!

This was a very good place to say. Beautiful views and amazing amenities. It was clean, as well as close to both pigeon forge and Gatlinburg while it still feels like it was peacefully up in the mountains. I highly recommend this cabin!

Justin's place was perfect for our adventures in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The cabin is on top of a hill overlooking the valley with beautiful views. It was fun to watch the weather roll in. There is plenty of parking, the beds were comfortable and the hot tub was great. We would definitely stay here again.

Justin and Kari’s place was a perfect getaway! Every detail in the home was well thought out and we had everything we needed. Perfect for two couples with very spacious rooms and the two suites. Loved the pool table and arcade games. Beautiful views off the decks. It was just a short drive to Gatlinburg. We would definitely recommend it. We even saw the bears walk by our last morning.

The pictures really don't do this place justice, it is easily one of the most beautiful cabins I have ever stayed in. You have to see it to really experience how amazing it is. Justin was a great host, with excellent communication, and everything was perfect for our family vacation. The cabin is located very close to Gatlinburg and it was a quick drive into town to eat, and a quick drive to the smokies to relax. Highly recommended.

Justin's cabin was a wonderful place to spend our winter vacation. The place was furnished very thoughtfully, with essentials and then some. The game room was a very nice touch, and we spent lots of time shooting pool and spending time together. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Justin's place and were a bit sad when having to depart.

Amazing cabin, truly beautiful! We enjoyed the Mountain View’s, games, and hot tub each day of our stay. The host was very responsive and friendly throughout our stay. We mentioned that didn’t have any bath mats for the bathrooms and he had some sent to our door the next day! Awesome. Location was a great getaway mountain feel for our anniversary trip, while still having lots of local activities and restaurants to explore. Would definitely stay again!
The only things I would warn future guests of is that the home only provides ONE very small, thin towel per guest and NO additional towels for the hot tub. Also, if you are planning to stay at the cabin during the day in the near future, you will hear the construction across the street of a new home being built.

We had a wonderful time. The cabin itself was beautiful. Kitchen was well stocked. Beds were extremely comfortable. Hot tub was perfect!
Only 2 minor items. The towels are small and limited with non for hot tub. The cabin was a challenge to lock. Video was great for opening but didn’t say how to lock up.
We enjoyed the cabin so much that we spent a good amount of time there. It was perfect for 2 couples!

Beautiful home and location. My entire group was in awe of the cabin, mountain views, and the bear sightings. This was our first trip to Tennessee and our first time booking with airbnb. It was a wonderful experience. The cabin is a mansion of a cabin. We had everything we needed, we were very close to all the action of the parkway but far enough away to get that authentic smoky Mountain experience. We had bears and BABY bears the first 45 mins we were there and everyday after. The cabin is immaculate, the bed and linens super comfortable, and the master shower is HUGE! Its was pretty warm while we were there but it didn’t stop me from having a beer in the hot tub. The roads to the cabin are steep but so worth it once you get to the top and can see mountains from the balcony. Justin was so kind and quick to respond with suggestions on activities, and places to shop. We just got back to NY and are talking about our next trip to Gatlinburg. GO BILLS!

We were in town for our son’s football recruiting event and chose to stay at this beautiful home. We absolutely loved it! Super clean, well stocked, loved the location, the decor, the views, the hot tub and the pool table/arcade games were a huge hit. We even had time to sit by the outdoor fire pit in the adorable red Adirondack chairs and make s’mores. Highlight for all of us was seeing a mama bear and her two cubs plus another lone bear later that afternoon right in front of the house. The balconies were the perfect spot to see them. It was awesome! Only request would be for more towels to use for the hot tub.

We loved the ambiance of the electric fireplaces, and the game on upstairs was just what we needed to unwind in the evenings. Justin was super responsive from the moment we booked! He kept up with us through check in. The cabin was gorgeous and just like the photos. It was cozy and had all the necessities. I loved the kitchen came fully equipped. I would definitely recommend to others. My husband and I plan to book again this fall.
Best part of the stay was a cute like cub on the first night that was roaming the grounds. He didn’t bother anything just walked around the garden/ fire pit area. Such a cute experience.

Location=gorgeous. If twisty, precarious roads scare you, rent elsewhere, not in Chalet Village.
House=spotless but windows very dirty...maybe due to construction nearby. Ruined the views.
Construction across the street 6/2024, but great windows; we didn't hear a thing while indoors.
Bears travel through the yard 2x a day & root through the construction dumpster at top of the hill, so plenty of bear sightings.
All appliances worked perfectly.
The fire pit is really lovely, but not private at all, since it is basically out in the middle of 4 other houses. We roasted marshmallows at the more private grill near front door.
Took us a minute to figure out how to lock the door when we left using the code.
Other reviews mention small, non-luxurious towels & washcloths (scratchy!) and pillowcases with bloodstains on them...those issues have not been fixed. For the price, I would expect better linens without stains. Thankfully we brought our own towels.
We would definitely stay here again!

This was a great place to stay for the views and amenities. Having the hot tub and fire pit area was nice—the house is in a more private area, and it was very peaceful with great views. A few small additions would have been nice (bath mats, tissues, extra blankets, all small stuff that would have made things a little more homey). The only real issue was that the shower curtain rod fell down several times, and it was a little tricky getting it back up. But overall a great spot and we would stay there again!

AMAZING stay!!! Justin was very responsive and always very friendly. The place came with a high chair and a pack and play which was great for our 8 month old. We were provided a coupon booklet for local restaurants and activities. The cabin had an amazing view with still be very close to town and there is a trolly stop so you do not have to pay for parking in Gatlinburg. We will definitely be staying here again!

The cabin was phenomenal. This place is beautiful. The pictures were very accurate to the listing. One very very minor hiccup but Justin communicated and resolved immediately. No matter the time of day Justin responded very quickly. I would definitely stay in this or any other of Justin’s properties. Highly recommend Justin as a host also. Great place in a cool location with a great view. It was clean and well maintained. The whole place is well done from the layout to the decor to the features. A refreshingly modern take on the “cabin in the Smokies” concept. There is some construction in the neighborhood because it’s in part of the fire-burned area, but for us, everything else more than made up for it. Would stay here again!

Justin's place was as described, and was the ideal spot for 4 to crash for long weekend in the Gatlinburg area. The location is only a 5 minute drive up into the mountains from the parkway between gatlinburg & pigeon forge, and offered a convenient location to spend a day in SMNP, at Dollywood, and Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge.
Our family appreciated the pool table, and well stocked kitchen.
The only issue we noticed was the limited towel supply, which wasnt a big deal, since there's a great W/D in the house.
Overall the stay was perfect - and we hope to be back soon!

We love the cabin...wasn't positive that the linens on the upstairs bed had been washed because they were wrinkled. Price is ok, but after all the fees, we won't be staying there anymore. We found a cabin as nice a lot cheaper. Justin is great!

Justin and Kari’s cabin was just as described and pictured! It has beautiful panoramic views with lots of windows to enjoy it through! We loved our stay and have zero complaints. We did see a bear as well! But no bother to us or the property. Our daughter loved the game room and the hot tub was great as well! This cabin had all the extras we needed! Hope to stay again in the future! Also, it only takes about 15 minutes to Pigeon Forge, so great location! Definitely recommend staying!

We had a wonderful time away at Cub Mountain View cabin. Nestled at the top of the mountain, the view was gorgeous and the surroundings were quiet and peaceful. The house was unbelievably clean and we immediately felt right at home. The beds were extra comfortable, the game room provided plenty of entertainment, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Among our favorite amenities was the hot tub… very relaxing, even when we spotted a black bear walking through the yard! Definitely recommend staying at this cozy “home away from home”… you will not be disappointed!

This was everything and more. I was doubting myself before I got there but it reall is that beautiful. The beds were so comfortable game room was fun and the views from the decks was breathtaking. Road is scary in the dark but doable. We will definitely be back next year for a week

This place is gorgeous! The details of the decor, the amenities and the friendliness of the property owners were amazing. I honestly don't think we have ever stayed in a more beautiful place! The only thing I could even think to add would be a foot pedestal or something in the stand alone shower for shaving, but they have thought of everything. The cabin faces the north so you can sit on the balcony and see the sunrise over the mountains and the sunset as well. Peaceful, clean, homey, and even saw a bear on our way to the cabin the first night. You will not regret staying here and we definitely plan to be back!

Had a Very nice stay at this cabin chalet. It was newer, clean, and well maintained. Loved the layout, big windows and many amenities. Had fun sitting on the decks watching a bear walk our neighborhood circle daily. He was not a threat rather looking for food. And we were able to see the Dollywood fireworks and drone show at 9:40pm each night. Nice mountain views and while sitting on the deck drinking coffee in the morning I ID’d over12 different bird sounds. 😊

We really enjoyed our stay at Cub Mountain View. The first night we were lucky enough to witness a mama bear and her three cubs roaming around the loop, climbing up trees and playing with one another. The sunrises and subsets and really the view overall is unmatched. We loved sitting out on the deck with our morning coffee, listening to the cardinals and watching the bear activity. Awesome place! First time visiting Gatlinburg. Great scenery of the mountains and able to see bear sightings from cabin. Justin was very helpful and quick to respond. Cabin was better than described, built with comfort and relaxation. 5 stars all around. Can’t wait to go back.

Omg!! The property was exactly as shown online. The pictures does this property no justice. You have to visit to see it for yourself. The mountain views from the decks were breathtaking. Have you ever watched the sunrise over the mountain? That did it for me. Absolutely the most beautiful thing you'll ever see right there at Cub Mountain View. We fell in love with the landscaping at this property. When we come back I will definitely be staying at Cub Mountain View again.

This wonderful experience is truly a dream come true! Every detail about this lovely piece of heaven was very well thought out. When we first arrived, we were speechless and full of adoration. This remarkable cabin was in pristine condition and lacked nothing that would come to mind. It is a great place for just an individual looking to relax, great for couples looking enjoy a get away and make new memories, or families looking to enjoy nature along with all the comforts of home while admiring the breath taking views that cannot be replicated anywhere else. I highly recommend Justin and Kari as they have been truly amazing throughout the entire process from start, to finish, to checking back after vacation. Everything was perfect. We have a family of four my husband and I a 10-year-old and a seven year old. We had such an amazing time. Justin was super informative answered all questions we had! We will definitely be visiting his home again. We couldn’t have asked for a better views perfect location, after a day, we didn’t even have to use our GPS it’s just an easy route easy to remember! We even got to see a mama bear, and four of her little cubs, who like to come around and play in the morning! Just all-around exactly the experience that we wanted for our first time in Tennessee!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin! From the time we booked to check out the process was easy and the owner was great about communication. The cleanliness of the cabin and the cozy feeling you get we felt right at home. The VIEWS were amazing. We saw 5 bears near the cabin. Then on the cabin property an eagle taking straw for a nest, chipmunks, rabbits and a ground hog. Couldn’t have asked for a better trip!

We loved our stay! The home was exactly as described and pristinely clean upon our arrival. The kids loved the game room, and the parents loved relaxing while gazing upon the incredible views of the mountains. The hot tub, soaking tub, and double balconies were so lovely to come home to after a long day of playing tourist. The home looks rustic but is packed with modern-day amenities. Our true joy came when a family of bears paid the mountain ridge a visit! We were able to safely observe them from the top balcony. Highly recommend this home for your future vacation to Gatlinburg.

We loved this cabin! It was the perfect space for us. We traveled with another couple so we loved that the bedrooms were on separate floors! We also enjoyed that we were able to play corn hole and sit around the fire! Everything was clean and thought out! No complaints here! We would absolutely come back!

This cabin has all of the amenities in the kitchen, bath, games, and media (Wi-Fi, TV) for everyone. Make sure to take a few extra towels for the hot tub. You may have to wash your bath towels once or twice if you stay for a week. One of the great features are the balconies. Great views, seating, and the hot tub. One of the best features was that the balconies were elevated and were only accessible from inside of the cabin. This gave a little extra comfort to not having unexpected wildlife visit you on the deck. The cabin is in a great location. 10-15 drive to downtown Gatlinburg and 15-20 to Pigeon Forge. Make sure to take advantage of the Gatlinburg trolley. The stop is located at Wiley Oakley Dr by the parkway. It’s a free ride into downtown Gatlinburg and saves about $20 to park and the mess of driving into downtown. Cool views from the balconies - seeing for miles. You can see the Anakeesta park from the top balcony. Very nice overall. Will consider staying there again.

The whoke house up in the mountains was magical. We all enjoyed the pool table and video games.
The house had everything. We bought groceries before getting their and made breakfasts and dinners instead of eating out every time. way better on the pocket book
