Forest Creek Retreat

My family and I loved the stay it was very beautiful we seen bears a lot of wildlife everything we need was there it was hard to come home! We will be back next year!!

This was exactly that place I was searching for, in the middle of no-where, and while that may sound bad to some people it is what I needed.
It was only 30 driving minutes away from the the world.
The place is just like the pictures, beutiful colored wood, clean, presentable, just a picturesque cabin.
I know I will be back next year.
Highly recommend if this is what you are looking for.

The photos don’t do this place justice. It’s beautiful! It was our first experience at an AirBNB and 10/10 recommended one of his locations! Extremely responsive and attentive.

Loved this place! Not hard to get to. 15 minute drive to Pigeon Forge, 25 to Gatlinburg. Cabin was clean when we got there. Game room was nice touch fooseball, arcade machine, and raised 2 row seating with large TV. We spent a good night playing games and watching movies! Deck was amazing, surrounded by trees, plenty of seating and a nice fire pit. Very peaceful surroundings, great place to stay and super close to all the touristy stuff. We will be staying in this cabin again!

The place was so great! The kids loved having their own floor with the games and huge bunk beds. We all thoroughly loved the hot tub and it was so beautiful and peaceful outside. Shane was super responsive and helpful with everything!

Overall, loved the stay. We spent a lot of time by the fire pit. I would go back. The host was very responsive. We had a couple of issues with the fire pit and they sent someone as soon as the could and were able to get it working for us.
Couple of things to note: getting there enter Shady Creek Way from Little Cove Road. Bench Mountain Way and Old Thyme Way do not connect.
The driveway patch is on a steep incline. So make sure you have good brakes.
Don’t forget to turn the outdoor light on if you’re returning late. It is so dark.

My mom recently celebrated her 60th birthday and had never stayed in a cabin so this was our gift to her! When we come to Pigeon Forge it’s hard finding that true cabin experience. Seclusion, privacy, peace and quiet but this cabin has all of that and made her first experience a memorable one! Wasn’t far from the main strip which was a plus as well!

From being out of state and driving for 8 hrs it was a prefect cabin to come home to. Easy to get in, very homey, relaxing, and fit for a family getaway. Close to all the action but is still secluded to have privacy and away from the busyness. It is definitely a steep drive when you are almost there so having that reliable vehicle is very important. But the overall stay was a 10/10 I would definitely come back again for a next Tennessee trip!

Place was easy to find and central to all areas. Beautiful surroundings. Lived hot tub and privacy.
Outside deck could use some love, but other then that it was awesome.
Kitchen has everything you need and more! Lots of pillows and blankets. Great for a couple or family.

This cabin was very clean and exactly as described. The game room/movie theater room were awesome and kept my kids very occupied. The creek off the back was very peaceful while sitting in the hot tub or hanging on the deck. The cabin had everything we needed. The master bathroom shower was spectacular huge with two spouts! The cabin wasn't too far from town either! We enjoyed our stay and we will be back!

Really happy with the stay. The kids loved getting to stay in a cabin over a cramped hotel. They really enjoyed having their own space downstairs and playing foosball/Connect4/PacMan was a big hit for them. It was extremely easy to get into town to do all the activities we wanted to accomplish.

We love this place. It was so peaceful and quiet. We could not wait after a morning of doing fun things to come back to the cabin and just relax. The beds were amazing. I saw some reviews saying the beds were hard. I disagree. They were perfect for us. A big thank you to the hosts for taking such great care of us. We would come again.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful, everything was just right and more. From the moment we walked in, it felt so cozy and welcoming, just like home. It was the perfect little hideaway, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

The cabin was small, but perfect for couples to get away for a few days without the kids (like my husband and I did) or a family with little ones. The cabin was clean, and we enjoyed the games they had downstairs. We were quite surprised and pleased that there was a King bed with a full bathroom upstairs, and a Queen bunk-bed with another full bath downstairs. We definitely enjoyed our time. The host were also very responsive, friendly, and gave lots of recommendations of things to do/see. My husband and I definitely enjoyed our time alone there.

We had a fantastic stay at this cabin! It was impeccably clean, making it easy to settle in and relax. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable, with everything we needed for a stress-free getaway. One of the highlights was the great selection of games, which made for some fun evenings indoors. We loved our stay here, on top of great location the cabin was very equipped for the week. Our first time in Gatlinburg and it was more than we expected! Shane was very welcoming and replied fast. We will definitely be coming back.

Beautiful house and feels very private. The amenities were great and the home was well equipped. It was a little isolated from the town, but still just a short drive away from the amenities of Pigeon Forge. Shane was great at answering questions, and it was overall a great stay.

This is a great cabin. Very comfortable matresses, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, nice kitchen fully stocked with equipment, nice big TV's (would have appreciated a basic cable package but you can sign in to any of your streaming platforms). Wonderful hit tub overlooking the woods. We couldnt figure out how to turn on the gas fireplace or gas firpit outside, but the host was very attentive so i'm sure if i would have asked he wojld hsvr told me! Kids LOVED the arcade games and foosball.

Whether for work or pleasure, we travel frequently. Shane & Justin’s Cabin was by far, one of the best experiences we’ve had! Close enough to town, but yet secluded enough for privacy! The Cabin was better than pictured. They were very responsive with any questions we had and offered many suggestions on things to do in the area. Our children loved the games downstairs! The cabin was very clean and thoughtfully decorated! Would absolutely stay here again!

The cabin was beautiful, reasonably priced, and we loved our stay. The game room downstairs and the deck outside were a nice touch. The hosts were very responsive and provided bonus coupons and information about local attractions.
Be warned that if you are approaching from the west, both Apple and Google Maps are likely to route you incorrectly down a road that does not exist, and leave you at the wrong address! The listing does warn you about this. If your instructions tell you to turn off Little Cove Road at Bench Mountain Road or Old Tyme Way, don’t listen. Keep going and turn off Little Cove Road at Shady Creek Way just down the hill.

Great place, nestled in a very quiet area in the foothills not far from town. Everything you need is there, indoors and out. Easy to relax in rocking chairs with forest views from those decks, and we loved the outdoor gas fire feature!

Our stay was beyond amazing! The cabin is a short drive to the city and the views were absolutely outstanding. The cabin was extremely clean and comfortable. Next time we are in the area we will certainly looks to book our stay here again.

Shane and Justin’s Airbnb was just as the description stated and more. It was thoroughly cleaned before we got there and lots to do close by! We would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

This place is beautiful!
Make sure you use the right map to find it! Once you are on the right road, it’s pretty easy to find.
Everything was exactly as described, and the accommodations were comfortable. We really loved the shower - once we got past the awkwardness of learning how to use someone else’s shower (I swear, I feel like these things should be universal!) My kids and husband loved the arcade game and the hot tub- especially after a day at Dollywood. I loved sitting outside with my coffee listening to the birds, or taking a walk (huffing and puffing the whole way-the hills are no joke). Be prepared for spotty cell service until you get closer to town. We had zero trouble with the Wi-Fi while we were in the cabin.
All in all this was a great place to stay, close to what we wanted to do, and super wallet friendly.

Communication was awesome. We booked super late and was expecting a reply in the morning but we had a response within a couple of minutes, the place was just as described, kitchen was well stocked, the place was clean, the outdoor space was great, hot tub was ready, we were emailed a drop box of things to do, and the spaces were great for our family. The only thing was it rained all 3 nights and we didn’t get to use that awesome fire pit. FYI, as described- the road is very steep. We found it easier to park if you back into the neighbors driveway and then pull into the driveway.

Great stay! Cabin was as described and very clean and comfortable. Felt private, which we appreciate. Only 5-6 miles to all the things in Pigeon Forge. The downstairs game room and bedroom is a great space for the kids - and young at heart. Overall a great experience!

We had a wonderful stay in cabin as last year under the same host. Shane and teams are so responsive for any questions always. They are proactively helped us in finding the directions. Cabin was clean, amenities are good as described. we felt rooms are smaller but it’s more than enough for 1 or 2 families to stay. Patio was so nice forest view and little scary in the night, good thrill experience :)

It was a great experience overall, but the only downside was not being able to relax in the backyard due to the abundance of insects and critters. I understand that being outdoors comes with these challenges, but I really wish the bug spray had been applied more effectively to enhance the outdoor experience.
