Heavenly Horizon Hideaway

Amazing stay! We even saw bears in the yard and crossing the street as we arrived — highlight of the trip. The cabin was spacious for 5 adults and a toddler, with surreal backyard views, hot tub, and plenty of outdoor seating. Kitchen was well stocked, lots of towels/blankets, and the retro arcade game was such a fun bonus.
Only tip— bring your own shampoo/soap since just a small bottle is provided.
Would come back again!

This mountain cabin is just like the pictures. Beautiful view of the mountain valley. Exceptionally clean. Everything you need for cooking is in the kitchen. It was a cozy gathering spot for our family group of five adults.

Views were amazing! House was well stocked with everything needed. We did use a couple extra rolls of toilet paper and paper towels, and brought a few extra kitchen trash bags. We had a mama bear and 4 cubs wander through the back yard. Also sighted lots of birds and a couple of foxes from the back porch. Saw turkeys in the road on our last day.

We had the most amazing stay at this beautiful cabin in Wears Valley! The views were breathtaking—waking up to the mountains every morning was pure magic. It was the perfect balance of peace and convenience: just a short drive to all the fun in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, but far enough away to enjoy total quiet and privacy away from the crowds.The amenities were top-notch! From the cozy fireplace and well-equipped kitchen to the relaxing hot tub and spacious deck, everything was thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. We especially loved the attention to detail—it felt like a home away from home.If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with easy access to all the Smoky Mountain attractions, this cabin is it.

Justin and his team were great to work with. The cabin was just as advertised, including beautiful views of two valleys North and South. This is actually an ideal place to bring children because it has a big yard to play in overlooking Wears Valley. We enjoyed the hot tub and the big screen TV and the comfortable beds and fabulous views. Now granted it's a little scary the first time to drive up but once you make it the first time it's a piece of cake. I would certainly recommend this to a family of six to eight. It was just right for four adults and four children.

We absolutely loved the cabin. From the views to the extra comfy beds, we felt right at home. The location was great as well - we could be in Wears Valley in less than 10 min and to an entrance of the national Park in 25 min. We loved the hot tub and stocked kitchen as well. The only challenge we had was a lack of toilet paper. I strongly suggest talking to the owner about this before your stay - we did share this feedback with the owner so we're hoping a change will be made.

The most beautiful views ! From every angle. Nestled on a mountain the drive up was a little scary for us first timers but totally WORTH IT, saw snow for the first time ! This was one of the most magnificent stays that we have had in the Wears Valley area! The cabin was absolutely spotless and had every amenity you could ask for. The part that we all enjoyed most was the incredible views from the back porch. Justin was super helpful and finding things to do in the local area and helping us to get settled in. My family of five stayed here for 4 nights in Oct for fall break. The cabin is set up really well for families! On the lower level there is a king bedroom, small room set up as an office that could also fit a pack n play (PnP is in master closet - also has baby gates and high chair), full bath with sep tub and walk in shower, open kitchen, and small but well laid out living area that seats 5 comfortably for movie night. Upstairs, there is a loft that is open to below, a great arcade video game, a couch that opens to a bed, and room for a blow up if you wanted to bring one, a room set up with two twin bunk beds, and a small alcove off the kids room with a bean bag chair that would be great for a reading nook or quiet space, a full bathroom with large vanity and whirlpool tub, and another bedroom with a queen bed. All the bedrooms have ceiling fans! The kitchen has any appliance, dish, or tool you would need to make a meal including a mixer, crockpot, pyrex, pots and pans, etc. Washer and dryer off the kitchen as well. The only downside of this property for families is that it is 20 minutes on windy mountain roads to get to PF, and a steep hike up the mountain to get to the property itself. Our littles started to get very car sick after the first day. But, once you are up at the house, it is a relatively flat lot, with a cleared yard you can play in and enjoy the hot tub, enjoy the patio, and the views are just amazing! We used the grill a couple of times as well.

I’ve never stayed in a better place. For starters it was SPOTLESS. The cleanliness was so detailed and perfect. The host is incredible!! We had a small issue with the sink and they had someone come and fix it immediately.. The views are absolutely breathtaking, the pictures do not do it justice. My family and I will continue to stay at this cabin each and every time we visit the smokies. Not only for its beauty, but because of how awesome the host are. ❤️

Such an amazing place to stay! The view is awesome and the place itself felt like home away from home! Wildlife roams the back yard throughout the day! The drive up the hill was a little steep but you are able to pass other cars coming down the other side! Only 15 minutes from Pigeon Forge downtown! Highly recommend this cabin! Will be booking again for our future Smoky Mountain trips!

The mountain view is truly breathtaking!! I thought the listing pictures couldn't be real but the views are really that amazing! The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioner and ceiling fans were great during the heat! The host communication was also great. The location is perfect, secluded in the mountains but just a 15 minute drive up the mountain from all the Pigeon Forge attractions! Be sure to drive a good vehicle as the mountain roads can be a little scarey. Will definitely book again!

We had an amazing time at this cabin. The view couldn’t have been better. From sunrise to sunset it was perfect. The cabin was clean and stocked with enough essentials to start you off right. The management staff Justin and His assistant was more than helpful with our questions about anything we needed and also was extremely fast at replying to our needs. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again in the future. Everything was very accommodating. Our family ranged in age from 46 to teenagers and even 5 years old. Everyone was more than pleased with the stay !!

10 of us stayed and made special memories here. The view was so relaxing. Enough kitchen supplies are provided to bbq and cook which was convenient. The video game was fun and brought back good memories. A roll of paper towels was provided but bring extra. Not to far from town if more supplies are needed. Only 10 towels were provided and would have been nice to have a few extra for both hot tub use and showers. Lastly a bear was able to open the “secured” garbage can storage area and pulled out the can and strewn it around. Excellent communication with the host, especially being our 1st Vrbo. Would definitely stay again! Thank you

We stayed in the area before, but we didnt realize, once we got up thay hill, the view alone was enough. The cabin was clean and so specious. The openess of the kitchen and living room was perfect for family meals. Everyone had their own space at the end of the day to unwind from the crazy adventures. The beds were so comfortable. Waking up every morning and sitting on the back porch with my coffee and looking at the mountain view was amazing. My kids loved the arcade game. And my wife and sister loved the hot tub. Beautiful property. Could use more lighting inside. Policies and procedures were supposed to be on a QR Code on the refrigerator But both were just for checking outcodes so we had to contact the host to find out what we need to do to check out. Wifi code was not correct but we were able to figure it out. I would definitely stay at this place again. Gorgeous views.

Cabin was easy to get to and great parking. The arcade and primary bedroom we had trouble with and couldnt get to work but overall great stay. We skipped the nights in the hot tub. Its on ground level and there was bear activity around. Overall great stay and justin was quick to answer any of our questions.

All my family lives up North and I recently became a southerner so this cozy cabin was an exact middle to meet my family for the Thanksgiving holiday and it did not disappoint! This cabin has an indoor and outdoor fireplace (outdoor was a must on our trip), which was harder to find in the area than we had thought. Justin was very responsive during the whole process which made the trip so much easier. He made sure we knew all the fun things to do, which were close by, but the cabin still felt far enough out that we had the privacy. The best part was probably the view! It’s absolutely beautiful and I can’t wait to visit again so I can sit and drink my morning coffee and enjoy the peaceful scenery! 10/10 recommend!

We had an excellent stay at Justin’s Place! The cabin is gorgeous, easy to locate, nice drive, and the views were absolutely stunning. Mountain driving is not my favorite, but I would drive to this cabin 10 times over! The roads were not steep or too narrow. House location is ideal.
Justin is an excellent host! Communication was always quick, clear and effective! Not that there were any issues, but, if we needed anything, Justin was right on it.
The views at this cabin are merely indescribable. The backyard looks out over a valley with mountains in the background. Stunning is not a strong enough word.
We absolutely plan to stay at Justin’s Place on our next visit to Gatlinburg! 10/10 would recommend!

This place was the perfect getaway we needed! Just my husband and I stayed, however would be the perfect size for a family. We would have been perfectly content with staying at the cabin all week. The views were immaculate, the hot tub was clean, patio was spacious with a fireplace. Justin had wonderful and timely communication. The pictures just don’t do justice for the breathtaking views from the back porch. Cabin is beautifully furnished. So peaceful at night to sit outside on the rocking chairs with family and have a drink to unwind. My mother in law loved sipping her coffee in the morning and watching the sunrise.
The host has amazing communication skills. He checked in with us to make sure our stay was going smoothly, which was very appreciated. He was very receptive of any issues brought to his awareness, such as the tv in the downstairs master bedroom not working correctly and the door handle needing to be fixed (both were minor issues).
If you’re looking for somewhere to make memories that last a lifetime, I recommend staying at this cabin. Memories were made that will be cherished for many years. What was a planned birthday getaway for my boyfriend’s mother to a surprise engagement by my now fiancé. We will definitely be back. Until next time.

The view is AMAZING! We booked this trip last minute & Justin was so helpful to answer all of my questions! The house was so cozy and clean! The kitchen had all you need for your stay including extra spices. The beds were comfy! We enjoyed every evening on the back porch with the view & outdoor fireplace. The house is a short drive to the parkway but you feel away from it all! The drive to the house is a little steep but nothing awful. My only recommendation is to bring a couple extra towels for hot tub use. We didn’t have any extras for our 4 adults/4kids between showers & hot tubs without washing them daily. It wasn’t a deal breaker but it would be easier to bring a couple extra “hot tub” towels to avoid extra laundry while relaxing. The outdoor fireplace is great & you will need firewood but there is a small firewood stand on wears Valley on you way to the cabin (on the right coming from the parkway). We would love to return for another visit! Justin was great! Def recommend!

The picture(s) say it all! The house was very clean and well maintained. The view off the back porch is amazing. It is quite the climb up the mountain, but well worth the drive. We stayed In to eat several nights, there are plants of dishes and kitchen utensils that were very clean, and the grill worked well. The house was great for our kids with little nooks and cranny’s they could play in or relax to read a book. Be sure to grab some firewood and use the outside fireplace to relax and cook s’mores. I would highly recommend this house if you are looking for a relaxing place to stay while not being too far from town.
