Hillside Haven

The cabin was fantastic. Clean, comfortable, nice decor and appliances, and lots of space. The hot tub was a hit. Justin was an excellent communicator, very responsive and polite. Things like getting into the cabin were accurately described. The setting was great with a canopy-level view of the trees, and the location was just minutes from Pigeon Forge restaurants and attractions. We would definitely stay here again.

My family and I absolutely loved this cabin! The location was perfect—we still had that peaceful mountain feel while being just minutes from town. The cabin was so clean and comfortable, and we even spotted a bear during our stay, which made it extra memorable! It was very family-friendly, from the kids’ toys and games to the high chair and pack ’n play. Those thoughtful details mean so much to us as parents. Highly recommend!

This property is misrepresented in the listing. It does not have Mountain views, as marked in the listing, and it is a very loud property. I booked this after our family experienced the loss of a child at the end of May. I needed a retreat to grieve and my family needed to escape for a week. Based on the property description, this seemed like the right place. I paid over value based on the expected views and the listing described as quiet. I was disappointed from the moment we arrived. I attempted to resolve it with the host and Vrbo. I spent 7 hours of my trip trying to get a refund or cancellation. The host refused to acknowledge his misrepresentation and Vrbo left me hanging for days waiting for a resolution. I will never use Vrbo again based on this experience. If you are looking for a relaxing experience with beautiful views, do not stay here.

This cabin was clean and the beds were very comfortable. We were only a party of 4 but the downstairs could accommodate a family with the bedroom and extra sleeping area bunks.We enjoyed morning coffee on the porch and evening wine on the porch. Great location, close to Pigeon Forge Parkway. We will definitely return to this cabin!

From the easy check in/check out to the great communication with the property manager and the ideal location and amenities, we had a fantastic trip. Centrally located, close to everything but private enough to escape the busy strip and enjoy a relaxing evening in the hot tub or playing pool after a day of hiking or doing all the activities. Coffee on one of the two decks or the front porch rockers listening to the birds every morning was fantastic start to the day.While the listing pictures were amazing and drew us to this property, they still don't do this place justice. It was so spacious, but cozy at the same time and had everything you would need. Everything in great shape and plenty of little extra touches (wife loved the extra blankets by the couch/fireplace at night). Very clean and property manager was incredibly responsive (though we had zero issues for them to address). Fully stocked kitchen and grill. Great, safe neighborhood. Thanks for an amazing stay!!!

Our family loved this cabin! It was so close to all the fun in Pigeon Forge, but in the woods enough to feel a little secluded. Our family enjoyed all of the amenities that the cabin had to offer, but after hiking during the day and the weather being chilly during spring break, we loved to come home each evening/afternoon and have a dip in the hot tub! The beds were so comfortable, and my kids loved the bunk beds downstairs. We would definitely stay here again!! Best of all, was the communication with the host as they always responded quickly to anything I asked! 10/10!!

This place was perfect for our weekend getaway. Location was great and was close to all major attractions. The hosts made the whole process extremely easy and were there for any questions. Beautiful cabin, loved the fully stocked kitchen, very relaxing hot tub, comfortable beds, and extremely clean. The 10-digit door code was a little challenging as other cabins usually have 4-6 digits but we managed. Looking forward to staying at Hillside Haven again in the future.

This cabin was beautiful and close to the main drag. It was nice a that we had all the supplies needed for our toddler: baby gate for stairs, high chair, and pop pack and play that he slept in. The cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated/designed. It was also nice to have a good driveway to pull into.

Loved staying at this cabin! It is every bit as comfy, cozy as the pictures look. Also a great location for all the attractions in Pidgeon Forge. We have stayed other places in Tennessee with not so great results with listings not as described so if you read about a great host I would stick with them for your Smoky mountain travels. This cabin was beautiful. The location absolutely cannot be beat - it was super close to everything we wanted to do in town but just far enough out to enjoy being in the mountains. Everything was in great condition, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Despite being close to other cabins, it was extremely quiet and peaceful. Lots of TVs, everything we needed to cook meals in the kitchen, pool table and arcade were great, beds were comfortable, and bathrooms were good. Having a washer and dryer was nice. I cannot say enough good things about this cabin.

This home has 2 masters so that worked for us perfectly. Kitchen is smaller than it appears in pics but it was perfect as is. Very clean. 2 towels per room were left, so if you plan on using pool, hottub or etc bring a towel for that. Given towels were not plush. If you want a soft bath towel bring your own. The location for this home for anything in Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge is perfect. I would highly recommend this place. The only negatives I have is the upstairs master closet is full of extra bedding so you kind of lose that closet and it is all on top of luggage rack so you can really use that, and towels are rough. All very minor things that would not stop me from renting this home again.

This cabin was very clean and neat. Very quiet area. Beds were comfortable. Showers were very roomy, clean, and water pressure was good. The decks and seating were extremely nice. It made for some memorable evenings just talking and enjoying nature. We even got to see a mama bear and 2 cubs around the corner from us! The kitchen was nicely stocked. Internet reception was good. The host was quick to respond and very helpful. We were very pleased with it all and would definitely book this cabin again in the future.

Justin is a great host! We greatly enjoyed our stay at Hillside Haven! The house was so clean and cozy! My husband even made the comment that we didn’t feel a morsel of dirt underneath our feet, which is an amazing feat! Justin is easy to work with and goes above and beyond to make sure that the house is well kept and comfy. The house itself was close to anything you would want to get to in Pigeon Forge and not far from any of the surrounding areas. We would definitely stay again and would stay in any of Justin’s other homes as well!

We had the opportunity to stay here for 6 nights as we adventured through Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and the Smoky Mountains. It was ideally located just off the main road in PF but felt far enough away for peace and quiet. We have rented many vacation STRs and my family has claimed this one to be their favorite. The kids loved the downstairs bunks, tv, games, hot tub and private area. We loved the deck, trees, windows and secluded master. This unit is well appointed and decorated.we would highly recommend for families, especially with kids/teens.

A beautifully decorated cabin perfect for a quick getaway trip with my kids! The kids loved the built-in bunk beds, game room, hot tub and the community pool within walking distance! We hit up Wonderworks, Sunliner Diner, Extreme Racing, Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster and miniature golf…..all within minutes of the cabin!

This a newer cabin that is furnished very nice with everything you need to settle in for your stay. Lower level has private bedroom and bathroom as well as game room with pool table and built in bunk beds . Great location as no neighbors in front of you and also no neighbors on one side also. Owners have high chair and pack and play for those with little ones.

We really loved our stay in Pigeon Forge. The property was beautiful! Exactly as pictured. The grill and the hot tub are great features of the home, as well as the game room.
Bed linens were soft and ultra clean. Beds were very comfortable.
Justin was so communicative leading up to and during our stay. All inquires were addressed immediately.
I hope our travel brings us back to Pigeon Forge. We would totally stay in this property again.

This is the second time we have stayed at one of Justin and Kari's locations. We chose the same cabin we stayed at last year as it felt so cozy and our kids were familiar with it. I love that they are so accommodating to all. This place was perfect with accommodations to 5 children, most of them being smaller children. Although it is so family friendly, it's perfect for a couples get away, girls trip, guys trip, really any kind of group would enjoy it.
The cabin is immaculate when it comes to cleanliness. The instructions are simple and clearly explained for check-in/check out, and their prices are so much more reasonable than other places while offering the full experience. I love the privacy, while being 5 minutes from what was 3 full days of NON STOP fun with our kids. I would have to say the thing I appreciate the most about booking with these lovely host is that they are always available. They want their guest to have all wants and needs met. They truly care. we are so thankful!

This might be the cleanest and well appointed chalet we have stayed in and that’s saying something since we’ve been visiting almost yearly for over 20 years. Our host was friendly and responsive. The chalet smelled fresh and clean the moment I unlocked the doors. The decor was tasteful and practical. We loved everything about the location and the easy access to Pigeon Forge. All I wanted was a solo getaway with no leather couch and a covered deck with a rocker to let this introvert recharge and small enough for just one as so many are huge cabins.
The pictures don’t do it justice. First floor open floor plan with a master bedroom/bath off the kitchen. Downstairs even bigger master bedroom with full bath and bunk beds and 1/2 bath in pool table area. Great breakout for a family.
The surprising thing to me was two full porches. Upstairs has table, rockers & grill off kitchen. I enjoyed my morning coffee on this deck and dinner on the deck at the table.
Downstairs deck has porch swing and hot tub. Basically space to relax alone or with family.
The space is decorated nicely yet minimalist (which means always cleaner) and had everything you need even some kitchen scissors. I always forget scissors.
The bed linens are soft and not scratchy and beds comfortable.
I even had enough room to set up my yoga mat in the living room. And just minutes from town.

Stayed here for a weekend with the girls for my bachelorette trip. It was so cute and cozy!! We loved it so much we even stayed in a night and got takeout and got in the hot tub. It was clean and so peaceful. I would definitely stay here again!! Also the owner communicated very well and was super nice. Check in and out was super easy much better then a hotel and more private.

We had an excellent stay! The cabin was right off the strip but also tucked in the mountains with no noise. The house was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. Smart tvs in all the rooms. I highly recommend this cabin! Good size drive way for our trucks. Nice seating outside on the deck! Photos are exactly how the cabin looks!

This house is located just a few minutes from ALL Pigeon Forge attractions/restaurants, yet in a neighborhood that is quiet and feels “off the beaten path.” If you suffer from carsickness, no worries: the route from the parkway has just a couple of curves. The back porches have great chairs and plenty of space for enjoying peaceful evenings. The inside is spotless. You will immediately feel at home here.

Location is super convenient right off the strip but also back far enough that you have privacy and it feels private. The pool is right next to the house, like a 90 second walk. The kitchen has lots of supplies (non food). Both bathrooms have showers but the kitchen sink is big enough to bathe an infant if needed.

This quiet cabin was just what our family needed! There was plenty of space and it was toddler friendly! We did end up using one of our own baby gates because we felt it was more secure at the top of the steps. Otherwise, this immaculate, new cabin had everything we needed for our 5 night stay

Justin was a great host...very responsive & helpful! Everything about this listing is accurate! It was extremely clean, which is huge for me! The decor was gorgeous & it also had everything we needed for the week. There were so many things for us to do including an arcade, pool table, board games, & hot tub. The outdoor swimming pool was just out our back door & was a quick walk! The pool was very well maintained & they cleaned it every morning. This place was amazing and perfect for our trip! We come to the area often and this was probably my favorite place! The location was perfect! Close enough to everything but felt you were away from it all! Love that we could walk to the pool! The house was clean and had all the amenities we needed! And the beds were so comfortable! Justin and Kari we so helpful and quick with their responses! We will definitely check availability of this cabin when we are back in the area!

Had a great weekend here! The master bedroom had the most comfortable mattress I’d ever slept on. We loved the hot tub, pool table and playing cards on the patio. Will definitely be back!

Check in was super easy. Cabin was well appointed and in superb condition. Justin was in constant communication regarding questions or some minor issues. Super convenient to all activities in Pigeon Forge and Gaitlinburg

Very surprised & glad of the short distance from parkway. Final destination was just like Justin’s picture. Parking was perfect, backed vehicle to steps, unloaded everything with ease. My family & I felt like we were home. Beds were very comfortable & the ceiling fans in bedroom were awesome, not a sound. Bathrooms & amenities were spot on. Game room, let me feel like a teenager again. I’m not a hot tub kind of guy, when I lifted the cover & seen how clean it was, well it didn’t take me long. The grille, worked flawlessly. Guess what I’m telling you, it was perfect for us, felt like a kid again, grilled for my family & family time is important. Hot tub was a needed benefit for me to relax. I slept like a baby. Plenty of hot water after everyone had a shower. Also….everyone felt safe. If you get a chance to book Justin’s Hillside Heaven, you won’t be disappointed.

Had a great time staying here. Our girls loved the bunk beds and games. We enjoyed the hot tub every night! Comfy beds and nice neighborhood we had some relaxing walks around. Super close to everything, wasn’t 10 min to Dollywood. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved our visit to the Hillside Haven. Communication beforehand and during our stay was great, including lots of helpful tips and very clear and simple check-in and check-out instructions. It was very clean--everything looked brand new. And it was a perfect layout for our vacation with 2 young kiddos and the grandparents. We were very impressed with the way it was furnished and all the little touches that it included (like a collection of books and games, a stool for the little ones to reach the sink and all the kitchen gadgets we needed). Our only regret is that we didn't book it for a longer stay.

We loved our stay at the Hillside Haven. Beautiful cabin with modern / farmhouse decor. Three kids (ages 8-13) loved the pool table, games, and hot tub. Justin was a great host - provided recommendations (many of which we tried) and was very responsive through the whole process. The location is great and close to all the fun stuff to do in Pigeon Forge and a short drive to Gatlinburg. We even headed over to Cades Cove which was a beautiful scenic drive. My kids have asked if we can go back next Spring Break and get the same house!
