The cabin was great. The location was perfect, everything was within 20 minutes. I would definitely recommend this place. Also was greeted by a bear when I got there which was pretty amazing.

Nice clean property in the mountains. The rooms were clean and spacious. It was 8 of us (4 adults and 4 children) and we were not crowded at all. There where a couple of spiders (daddy long legs) but that’s something I expected being so close to nature as we where. But other than that it was everything I expected. And my family loved the peace and comfort it provided for us that was well needed after Loosing a loved one (my grandmother)!!

Our beautiful mountain getaway was beyond our expectations! It was spacious, immaculately clean, and private. The location was convenient to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and the Park which was most important to us. As mentioned in previous reviews, the road to the home was steep and challenging to drive. However, we are so glad we booked this property because it made our family vacation memorable and a huge success.

Stayed at this property for a long weekend over the Fourth of July holiday. The set-up of the house was even better than described! We had two families stay together with 5 kids combined, all teenagers, the youngest being age 14. Two rooms with a full bathroom and game room downstairs became the perfect spot for all the teens to have privacy and hang out while us parents had the two rooms upstairs, each with their own bathrooms, and some peace and quiet :0). The entire house was spotless on check in and the property manager was extremely responsive to questions. If you’re looking for a great summer getaway, especially if a large group or two families, this was the perfect accommodation for us!!!

The cabin was great. Its layout was perfect so kids and adults could get some isolation. The hot tub was a big attraction, along with the wild life. The double porches facing the trees made for nice morning coffee moments. Make sure to check out their recommended trail guides in the living room to seek out good trail locations.

First off Justin is an absolutely amazing host! He kept in touch and was so helpful. Ok now the details! I ALWAYS read reviews and my main concern and focus is..... BEDS!!! The mattresses were AMAZING!!! I slept on the upstairs KING and LOVED IT! (I'm kind of a mattress snob). My mom slept and the Queen and loved it, and my adult Brother slept on the downstairs King and said it was amazing as well! Cannot speak on the bunks because the kiddos were so worn out from activities and the amazing outdoor hot tub they could have slept anywhere LOL. The bedrooms were very spacious and clean. Bathrooms were all great sizes and I enjoyed the jet tub in the upstairs Queen bath! We enjoyed nightly family dinner and then games at the spacious and beautiful dining room table with adjoining living area to watch Christmas movies! If you're pondering on booking, wait no longer!! This cabin is the whole package and literally about 8 minutes from the strip.

The location was close to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The host is very communicative and check in was a breeze, no issues at all. Hot tub and fooseball were a ton of fun! The beds were extremely comfortable! We loved that both upstairs bedrooms were ensuites, perfect for our two families but could also be great for a single family. Definitely not a party neighborhood which was nice for our purposes, you here everything around as sound bounces off the mountains. We got to hear a bear in someones car down the street which was pretty wild! (Ha pun not intended.) Our only 'complaints' weren't huge issues for us. 1. The kitchen is small for the number of beds available BUT there's tons of good options around to eat and we had no issues getting into places. Honestly, we didn't feel like cooking anyways so this ended up being fine but could have been an issue in a busier season. (We had 4 adults and 5 kids ages 7 to 12 and used all the rooms.) 2. The towels are small/thin and we could have used more. This didn't break the trip for us, we didn't even reach out to the host for more, which I'm sure they would have provided. Bring towels from home if you are bougie. Overall, we had a great trip and loved our first visit to the area. The house was perfect for us.

What an awesome place to stay. The cabin was just as described. The layout was perfect for us. We had 6 adults and two children staying the week. Every morning the clan got up and took their showers, getting ready for the day, and not once did we ever run out of hot water!!! All the beds had pillow top mattresses and they were very comfortable. Waking up to the mountain view each morning was a plus. I’ll close by saying that when communicating with our host their responses were very prompt and informative.

The place is very cozy. Everything is up to date & clean. The beds were comfortable! A baby gate for the stairs would be great for family's with little ones. AC & heat work great. The host was very responsive every time I messaged with any questions. Washer & dryer worked great. The decks are beautiful! Check in and check out was very simple. We never had to deal with anyone in person. Great stay! Definitely recommend.

Beautiful cabin in peaceful surroundings. I would definitely recommend this cabin. It's a little scary driving the road leading to the cabin but so are other roads around it. Saw 2 bears walk past the cabin, one even hopped in the neighbor's car...true story, heard it all!! I would stay here again if I ever visit Gatlinburg again. There are more things to see and do.

We found the home to be perfect for a family trip. Very clean, plenty of room for all. Spacious multiple decks with tables and rocking chairs for relaxing. Nice sized hot tub. We loved the large wooden kitchen table to spend time together. The host host provided excellent communication. Extremely timely we recommend staying here.

We had a great stay! We were far enough from town to enjoy the beautiful wildlife but close enough to get wherever we wanted in a manner of minutes. The home was beautiful and worked really well for our family of 7. We were really excited to find the home decorated for Christmas so we could take some nice family photos. Perfect place for family to gather and celebrate Thanksgiving! Very roomy with great balconies. Host was so helpful. The cabin is located close enough to town that we didn’t have to drive far to enjoy downtown Gatlinburg, Ober Mountain, and local hiking trails. Would definitely stay here again!

The place is well kept. Its an older cabin but it’s kept up. Hot tub was nice. Decks are in great shape. Plenty of room for big families. BUT Lock your car doors! Bear got in our van to eat Dollywood popcorn. No real car damage but also ate a snack in my wife’s coat pocket that was left in van. The coat was shredded! Glad she wasn’t in it!!

Cabin was great. As pictured. The kids loved having the bottom floor all to themselves. The steps to the bottom floor are a little steep, so keep that in mind for elderly guests. You won't be far from Gatlinburg, just a few minute ride down the mountain. We would stay again on our next trip to Gatlinburg.

We greatly enjoyed our vacation staying at this cabin. With 2 separate living spaces, huge decks, plentiful indoor and outdoor seating, a hot tub and foosball table, large comfortable beds, etc. there was something for everyone. Also, a local black bear to observe! The host had great communication and check in was easy. We would definitely stay here again.

Highly recommend! This home was perfect for our family of 8. Spacious, clean, and in a great location. A short drive to downtown Gatlinburg as well as Pigeon Forge. Having a deck on each level of the home was great for spending time outside and enjoying the scenery. Justin is extremely helpful, he provided clear instructions on getting to and in the home and some great tips to make our trip seamless.

We loved our visit to Honey Bear Hideaway. The house is very spacious and comfortable. The hosts are very helpful and responsive. The home is located close to Gatlinburg strip. We enjoyed playing cards and exploring Gatlinburg and Pigeon forge. La Conte Tappas is a must try. We will be back!

This is a beautiful cabin tucked in the mountains, with great access to Smoky mountains. Close enough to Gatlinburg downtown, and just a short ride to Pigeon Forge. I would highly recommend this cabin for families.

we had a wonderful stay. wish we could have spent an extra day just hanging out in the cabin. very spacious and you can't beat the double deck and the beautiful views. Justin was a great host, very helpful and easy to communicate with. Gave great recommendations for out stay. We will definitely plan on staying there again!

We highly recommend Justin to book with. He kept in contact the whole time whenever we had questions whether it be about the place or what to do. He was so friendly and helpful for new tourists like us. The cabin was amazing and felt just like a brief home. The beds are so comfy and it was extremely clean! Our favorite part was definitely the hot tub. Thanks so much for allowing us to stay and we will be booking again!

Loved the cabin and the location. Close to Gatlinburg but location was private and peaceful. There were 9 of us and we were all extremely comfortable. Couldn’t recommend a stay here enough!
