Had a wonderful time on our visit. Plenty of space for the family. Saw a bear and enjoyed the beautiful mountain views. The drive up is a bit tough but to be expected in the mountains. Would stay again

We spent the weekend here and had a great time! The cabin is spacious and clean. Not too far from town, but also feels secluded. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Will definitely keep this listing saved for future trips to Gatlinburg!

The cabin was absolutely AMAZING!!! Very spacious, very comfortable!! Entertaining enough to stay in and just simply ENJOY!!! The views were incredible!! Serene, peaceful and very accommodating!! Short drive to many things, activities, dining and fun for the whole family. Hot tub and theater room were perfect! Communication with the hosts was top notch! We did not want to leave!!! We will DEFINITELY be back next year!! And would highly recommend to family and friends!! Could not brag enough about this place!!

Awesome cabin in the mountains! Very spacious, clean, and rustic aesthetic. Loved the hottub and TVs in each room. If I had drawbacks: 1) difficult to control thermostat as it's on a schedule 2) automated AI responses & messages, that kept asking for my 3 children's names. Of course I did not. otherwise, excellent property!

We all loved the bear theme and I felt like a momma bear with all of her cubs. The place was open everywhere except the basement area so i could hear my kids talking, laughing and enjoying each others company from anywhere in the house. We had a great time.

The cabin was great for my family it was very spacious. A very beautiful place up in the mountains just what you imagine a cabin vacation in the mountains to be. The house were very nice and answered all of my questions. I would most definitely stay again. Seeing a few bears while we were there. It was overall a great experience.

We had an amazing stay at this cabin! It was incredibly spacious, spotless, and well-stocked with extra blankets, pillows, and even baby items—such a thoughtful touch for families. The washer and dryer were a big plus, making our trip even more convenient.
The view was breathtaking, especially waking up to the stunning mountain scenery. The location couldn’t have been better—just a quick 3-minute drive to Ober Mountain Ski and Snowboarding Resort, which our family absolutely loved.
To top it all off, we had a surprise visit from some bear neighbors on our last night, which was such a unique and memorable experience! We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

My family really enjoyed our stay. We had everything that we needed. Only negative was it was hard to manage the heating controls, but there were several small heaters available. We were only 5 minutes from Ober Gatlinburg. We absolutely loved this. Will rent again!!

This is our 2nd year staying at Honey Bear Slopes and it’s been the best place for our family vacation. The place was clean upon our arrival and best of all, bears were active everyday. We will definitely be back again!

The house was beautiful and the view was even better. We saw tons of bears which was amazing. We had a little hiccup at check in but the host handled it fast. 10/10 would recommend to anyone and we will definitely be back.

This place is worth every. single. dollar. It's a beautiful home with wonderful sights. Honestly the pictures don't do justice. 3 levels of rooms to pick from, comfortable beds and couches to sleep on! Took my man out for his birthday, inviting his friends and family. We comfortably fit 7 people, even when it came to dinner time, plenty of room. The host was extremely helpful from the moment we booked u til we checked out! He's super friendly and will help with anything he can. 10/10 recommend staying here, will definitely be back.

Spent 5 days at Shane’s cabin, and had a great time! Highly recommend!
Only downfall is the all the bears, just make sure you lock your car doors because they will try to get in!

Amazing place, plenty of room. A lot of nice amenities. My favorite part is that everything worked - most places only half of the appliances worked. Hot tub and outside areas were very nice. And the master bedroom was perfect. Definitely recommend and would stay again.

It was amazing, beautiful views! It was very peaceful, loved the atmosphere! The house was very clean and comfortable! We enjoyed the jacuzzi and having coffee in the deck while watching the sunrise. Will for sure be back!

This was an awesome cabin with great views of the mountains. There is plenty of room for my family of 7. Loved the hot tub and movie room. The owners keep in touch the whole time if we needed anything they were on top of it. Definitely would love to come back again soon.

The host was great! Very responsive. The only issues were the AC/heating unit was finicky at times and the house was cold to say the least. There were roaches in the bathroom as well. I say this just being honest, not to shade the home. I understand that we were in the mountains in a very wooded area, but there shouldn’t be an insect issue.

I'm so sorry to hear about the issues you encountered with the AC/heating unit and the presence of roaches in the bathroom. Your honesty is appreciated, and I totally understand your concerns. Just to reassure you, the cabin is regularly exterminated to keep pests at bay, but sometimes they still manage to sneak in, especially given our wooded mountain location. I'll definitely look into the heating system to ensure it's working perfectly for future guests. Thanks again for bringing these to my attention, and I hope we can make your next stay even better!

The cabin was in a great location. Only minutes from the strip. The area was very quiet and the scenary was beautiful. The cabin was spacious for our group of 7. The kitchen was well equiped. The only thing I would personally change is add more lighting. With the inside painted dark brown, it makes it dark in there. The living room area needs lamps and brighter lighting. We were not able to get the fire place started which was a bummer for us. After attempting it twice, we decided to just leave it alone. There was step by step instructions but you had to put your hand under the logs and we were all little afraid. We could've reached out to the host but chose not to. The dining room table needs more chairs and the bench needs fixed (it's about to break). The place was pretty clean. Some places hadn't been dusted and under the couches was little dirty. The bedding was clean and smelled so fresh. We had a great girls trip and would definitely stay again!

The location was perfect for us. It was close to skiing (literally 4 minutes away), and close to downtown. The lodge was great, there was plenty of room for everyone to do what the chose to do. We were able to do school work, work remotely and socialize all at the same time without being distracted. We loved the experience!!

El cabin es increible. Queda mur cerca a downtown Gatlinburg y a las attractions de los parques.
el cabin le estan haciendo unos arreglos a las puertas deslisantes y se siente un poco frio en las noches pero de resto todo esta muy bien. Great home away from home. Conveniently located near everything from hiking trails to restaurants to Dollywood. We also got to see bears from the couch! Our group included my parents, myself, and my teenage daughter. This was the perfect amount of space to come together but also have privacy and time alone. The host was great at communicating and made everything from check in to check out smooth.

This place is simply beautiful with lots of room for our family. All the comforts of home, kids loved the video games and the theatre room. Beds were so soft and cozy bathrooms were super nice. Highly recommended and Justin was awesome.

This cabin was great for
My family. It had plenty of room and was not far from activities. While at the cabin we saw bears all weekend. You do need to pay attention to your surroundings. They were cool to see. We definitely would use this location again.

Spacious yet cozy. Worked a puzzle in the sunroom. Lazed in the hot tub. Fixed breakfast and enjoyed our coffees. Sat on the deck and enjoyed the weather. Even had a visit from the three bears. Justin and company were very responsive to any questions or needs.

This home was exactly what we expected and Justin was an amazing host. His communication before, during, and after the stay was great. He ensured that everything was ready and taken care of and went beyond our expectations. Worth every penny for the memories we made there. Grandpa has never seen bears in the wild until we stayed here. The bears showed there faces literally two houses away from us and it was great to finally see them.
