Beautiful, clean cabin surrounded by gorgeous views! Just far enough where you feel secluded from society but still within very reasonable distance from all the touristy activities. We saw bears (including cubs) 3 of our 5 day stay right next to the cabin.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Our family had plenty of room and enjoyed all the extras from movies, games, hot tub and decks. We also really enjoyed the family of bears that lived in the woods and climbed in the trees allowing us to watch and enjoy nature. We had the best time at this cabin. Wonderful amenities, great communication, lots of room, it was perfect. The best part though were the daily visitors! We saw bear every morning and evening. Thank you Justin and Kari for a wonderful trip!

Property was just as described. The kids loved the lower level game/bed room and only came upstairs for food! Family room furniture was comfortable and nice to relax in when arriving back to the house after sightseeing. Beds comfy. We would definitely come back maybe for a week next trip.Only items that need any minor attention was the “fire” button on the arcade game didn’t always work, and the top sash of some of the windows, if opened, was difficult to lock closed.This is a great house…highly recommend!

Our stay at this Smoky Mountains cabin was nothing short of spectacular! The cabin was spotlessly clean. The views of the mountains were absolutely breathtaking, offering a stunning backdrop whether we were sipping coffee on the deck or soaking in the hot tub—such a treat! The game room was a huge hit, keeping us entertained for hours with family-friendly fun. The host was attentive and ensured every detail was perfect. This cabin is a true gem, and I can’t wait to return! Highly recommend for anyone craving a cozy, scenic escape.

If you want the fun of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg with the comfort of a smaller town with more local options, this cabin is the place to stay. Clean, spacious, and true to the listing it’s a great place to rest and recover from your TN expeditions. The spacious living room leads right to the upper deck giving plenty of space for your group to gather. The lower deck leads to the hot tub and has plenty of outdoor seating for meals or relaxing. The covered hot tub makes it great to use rain or shine. The view is incredible and it is very quiet. When the clouds are low you feel like it’s just you on the mountain. But when they lift, you can see far but still feel secluded and immersed in nature. The host was very responsive before and during the stay. Would recommend and come back again.

This was a wonderful place to stay at! Although there is a few things that just needed to be upgraded, as in the microwave ( handle was broken and glass moved) and the back glass outside door the stopping part was so loose it broke. This place was far beyond amazing! Also we saw a bear! It was to close for comfort, as in tried getting in our car while loading up to leave!Parking: very easy and flat to park enough to pull in for two cars and pull in long ways as well. Hot tub is on the bottom floor so you have to go outside and walk down a couple flights of steps. Overall this was a wonderful experience and place to rent! Highly recommend

Tuvimos unas excelentes vacaciones, nos encantó la cabaña muy buena y linda posición, solo les recomiendo que si va haber nieve viendo vallan que escojan un carro 4/4 y que tengan agua y comida suficiente en la cabaña en caso que no se pueda salir, por lo demás a mí y a mi familia nos encantó todo, cabaña, posición la vista todo, se lo recomiendo 100%

Cabin was set up well to give kids their own area downstairs while the adults did our own thing upstairs. Good amount of room for 8 of us.

Was our first stay here and our family just loved it!! So perfect for family with little ones. Our grandson has a pack b play to sleep in, safety feature like outlet covers and gates if needed plus even a toddler potty toilet (which we are in the midst of training!).
Kitchen was stocked well and tons of seating with bar and dining room table. WiFi spot on!! Strong!!! Enjoyed the oversized flatscreens for football season and the arcade had us all engaged!!! Ha.
The icing on the cake was how warm and comfortable it was with really cold temps. The gas fireplace is beautiful and has a timer switch for using. Loved that!
We will be back next year hopefully at the same time.

We enjoyed our long weekend at this cabin. It was very quiet and easy access to Townsend, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. It was a nice setup and the lower level was perfect for my son and family to have some privacy away from the rest of the family at times.

The cabin met our needs perfectly for our sons destination wedding in the Smokeys. Everything was perfect. The road is somewhat steep and parking is limited, but those are small things. Great stay!

We spent a wonderful weekend in the Life Is Good cabin. The owner was quick to answer my questions and easy to communicate with. Checking in and out was a breeze. The cabin was in a great location right in the heart of Wears Valley and easily accessible. It was clean and the beds were comfy and we all slept well. The master bath was a little small but functional. The air conditioning works great and had upstairs and downstairs thermostats which is a big plus. The kitchen was well laid out and stocked. We loved having an upstairs and downstairs family room and the TVs were great. We enjoyed our time on the porch… sipping coffee and rocking and swinging in the hammocks and watching the sunset. We saw a mama bear on the property every day and spotted a juvenile one day. We recommend this cabin and the hosts!

We had an absolutely wonderful time! The cabin is spacious and beautiful! We did see bears while we were there and it was very exciting and we’ll have memories to share for a lifetime. My wife, son and his wife with 4 teenage grandsons did three days at Dollywood while we were there. The Cabin is located in a small very private area on the side of the mountain. the multi-level decks are great! grandsons loved the pool table and video game; Host was in touch as needed with messages of things to do in the area and to advise us about the bears. We had a great visit. This location is perfect for those that don’t want to be right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of pigeon forge and Gatlinburg but want to be close enough to enjoy all there is to offer! We were just a short pleasant 10-15 min drive to the island in Pigeon Forge. Cabin was clean and well appointed! We were a group of 2 families with 5 adults and 4 pre-teen/teenagers and everyone had plenty of space to spread out. Would definitely stay again. Thank you.

Justin's cabin was perfect for our weekend visit to Wears Valley. The cabin was very clean and easy to find. It was a short distance to shopping in Wears Valley and Pigeon Forge. The children enjoyed playing pool and watching the big screen TV in the basement. Bunk beds were a big hit for the little ones, too. Justin was very helpful and responsive prior to and during the visit. I will definitely stay again.

Lovely place to stay, very cozy, we have stayed here before and came back because of a great experience! It is clean, extra blankets available which is very nice for a rental in the winter :) The view is lovely, hot tub, TVs etc all make for a cozy weekend spot. We did a lot of cooking and the only downfall was that the kitchen supplies were hit or miss, lots of pots, pans, silverware and dishware but no spices or other staples-so I'd recommend bringing what you know you'll need, for example we didn't have coffee filters or hot pads, and just had to make do with paper towels and hand towels, brought our own salt/ pepper etc.

The location was perfect for us as we visit the smoky mountain area several times a year. We like to frequent the cades cove and pigeon forge areas most and this cabin was situated between. We travel a LOT, and this is BY FAR the cleanest place we have ever stayed. (Even over much pricier accommodations!!) HIGHLY recommended! Book it, you will not regret it! Things to note for other travelers (none of which were issues for us and we will ABSOLUTELY frequent this location!): 1. There are several outside steps you must traverse to access the hot tub (it can not be accessed from any level directly inside the cabin) 2. We drive a full size (ram crew cab 2500 diesel) truck - and we would have been HARD PRESSED to park another vehicle at this location with us. Luckily it was just us, so it was not an issue. 3. The mountain road driving up is in great condition, not AT ALL what I would consider dangerous (even in a full size vehicle) … however portions are quite steep so I’m not sure how that may factor for winter weather. (Again, full size 4x4 here - so it’s a non-issue for us) 4. There are many cabins in the immediate vicinity (so not very private if you were looking for that). It was not an issue for us, and we never really knew anyone was around without going out onto a deck and looking. 5. Great selection of games and movies!! Again … the above points are informational only for other travelers who might be seeking specific things. Thank you!!

Beautiful and very clean! Place was private and great central location with numerous activities in the area. Comfortable beds and plenty of space for our family of 4. We did find the kitchen to be lacking certain items for food preparation. Be prepared to bring basic items such as spices, foils, coffee, filters, etc. We had a bit of trouble with Wi-Fi but Justin resolved right away. Great views and outdoor space with nice hot tub. I would recommend this place.

The place was clean, easy to get to and well equipped with cooking pot, pans, and glassware. Outdoor seating was plentiful and the fire pit out front is great! Just remember to bring wood. I would definitely stay here again. Communication with the host was responsive and they are very friendly.

Justin was friendly and quick to respond to all messages. The cabin was perfect for a week getaway, and offered more than the typical AirBNB. The wifi was just as bad as the picture warned, but you can go down to Elviras and use theirs. (Works ok for Netflix) I recommend locking your vehicle, as a bear was clever enough to let itself in the back of my jeep. Luckily he was disappointed and didn’t so much as leave a scratch. (Just muddy paw prints) I would definitely return to this beautiful cabin.

we stayed here for 6 nights and had an absolute blast. Good mountain views from the deck and bears walking by the cabin every day. Our kids loved the basement with the arcade, pool table, and big screen TV. It was easy to get to and from that parkway to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. the only downer was that when we showed up at about 6 pm the day of our arrival and the cleaning lady was still there. I don't think she had finished all the way yet when we arrived. I. assuming that we showed up and possibly scared her off before she was able to finish. the house was still very clean and in good shape. We did find a few things on the floor in the basement like a random hair tie and a kids small toy dinosaur. I wish she wouldn't have taken off so fast as we would have been more than willing to give her the time she needed to finish. other than that, the place was great and would definitely stay there again hand down.

My husband and I took our 7 grand kids with us and we all loved it. There was so much to do right there at the cabin, we never heard a complaint about being bored. Numerous beds, nobody fought over who got which bed. Lol. Pool table, hot tub, big screen tv and numerous games kept us all entertained. The only time anyone left the place was to ride about 4 miles to Dollar General to get ice cream. So relaxing . And that's what we went for. We will definitely be back. Justin was the best host. Super responsive and informative.

We loved our stay! I cannot speak highly enough of how great the cabin was. The location in Wears Valley is quiet and out of the hustle bustle of Pigeon Forge but close enough to enjoy the area.
The inside of the cabin was spotless, well appointed, and very cosy and comfortable. The hot tub was clean, private, and very relaxing. Sitting out on the back decks and enjoying my morning coffee with the cool mountain breezes was my favorite.
Justin was very responsive when we had a few questions. We can’t wait to visit again!!!!

The house was ready to tackle all ages and was perfect for those ready to go and those ready to stay and relax! Downstairs along with the pool table and games, a book filled with classic and new movies! The host made it easy to get in and settled. We planned to come with a small group of people, but plans changed and it ended up just being my husband and I but everything was perfect! Justin gives you a thorough list of possible things to do which was very helpful! The place was beautiful while also not being too far from food / activities. If we ever end back up in the area, this place would also be great for a family with small kids! Hope to be back soon!

My 3 kids plus an extra (2 14 year olds and 2 18 year olds) plus my partner and I decided to take a trip to the Great Smokies and this place was perfect for our stay. There was so much space for all of us to relax. We were able to make some home cooked meals as well as being a short drive to many dining out options. The kids had a blast with the pool table and arcade game. The adults loved the amazing sunset views from the back porch. One evening we saw 5 bears stroll across the property too! The cabin is well stocked and Justin was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. The cabin is tucked away from busy Pigeon Forge, which gave such a relaxing vibe to the trip. Yet we were able to do so much as we were short drive to nearly anything we wanted- zip-lining, hiking, scenic drives to Cades Cove and Roaring Fork, white-water rafting, touring a cave, a dinner show, and more. If we find ourselves down in the area again, I would love to return to this cabin and we will be recommending to anyone we know that is thinking of visiting the area.

Words can’t describe Justin’s cabin. It is AMAZING! There is so much more room then I anticipated, the bedrooms were in perfect locations and the downstairs was a huge hit for the teenagers. As for the kitchen, if you couldn’t find something in there to cook with, you weren’t looking very hard because you could cook anything and everything with all of the kitchen supplies. We will definitely be back. It was about a 20 minute drive to Pigeon Forge but the scenery was beautiful on the way. If you are still debating on renting this cabin, DO IT! You won’t be disappointed!

Loved our stay and all the amenities that it offered for our small children while we stayed. Didn’t have to pack extra things they already had it. (Pack n play, high chair, baby gate) overall was a great relaxing trip.
