Lunar Lodge

Justin was a wonderful host; the cabin was amazing. The location was close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, plus all other local places like museums, ziplining, hiking, and shopping stores. The cabin/house is huge with a lovely neighborhood. I am from a big city, and it was so refreshing waking up in the Tennessee Mountains.

We had a great stay and the cabin was in the middle of everything we wanted to do but more secluded that it was super peaceful. Very comfy and cozy. Hot tub was great after days of walking. We had a family of bears visit us a few days out back while sitting on deck. All in all it was a great vacation and we can’t wait to go back!

The cabin was great! We were close to beautiful sites, the owner's were communicative, and we even got to some wildlife! We would get home to watch deer playing in a nearby field and the kids loved that. The bedrooms were roomy and spacious. We appreciated the fact that it was three individual bedrooms - lofts are nice but the privacy of three rooms was a plus! The video game was a family hit! Overall a great stay.

Justin was a great host! He was very attentive and helpful with any questions I had. The cabin is precious and everything my family of 7 needed. We would definitely come back again.
There aren't dressers in the bedrooms to put things away but other than that, everything in the cabin was perfect.

The location was fantastic: right off a main road but the street was not busy at all . We were able to do all we wanted and pretty much avoid the PF Parkway. We all enjoyed the sitting areas outside and I spent hours on the swing. We would definitely recommend this house!

Nice, cozy cabin. May want to get some firewood if you want to enjoy a fire. Plenty of room for all guests.

Amazing location, peaceful, and beautiful surrounding. Close to everything with a feeling of seclusion. The house was very clean, great set up, very well equipped kitchen! The host was very responsive and helpful! Would stay again!

This was beautiful cabin and overall a good place to stay however the kitchen sink was backed up which i fixed by manually actuating the garbage disposal. One of the showers upstairs was slow to drain to the point that as you showered you were standing in 3 inches of water. It had also stormed during our stay and there were 2 different substantial leaks in the dining room/kitchen. Other than those issues the cabin was very clean and well put together and we did enjoy our stay

Lunar Lodge is the perfect place to relax and have a great peaceful time with your loved ones. You get to enjoy the sound of nature and the breathtaking views.
Justin was friendly and responsive at all times.

My only complaint is about the driveway. I read reviews about it and it said that it had been repaired. We arrived with two F150 4x4’s and we had to use the 4wheel drive to get out. I don’t recommend someone with a low car to try it. If the owner spent a little more on the driveway it would be a 5 star place to stay.

Host was very responsive. The home is centrally located and very private. The home has the cabin feel and well decorated. I would definitely rent again.

We stayed for our trip to gaitlinburg/pigeon forge. The check in was very easy. We did have Asian beetles “lady bugs” as my kiddo calls them. Justin did offer to have someone come address the issue. I wouldn’t say it was an issue for us and expected being in a more secluded area this time of year. We were about 30 min from dollywood, 20 min from pigeon forge strip. Location is great for cades cove and Smokey mountain trails. Overall our stay was good and Justin was responsive.

Our stay at Lunar Cabin was absolutely wonderful. The house was so welcoming and furnished with all we needed for a great Thanksgiving. The Jacuzzi was super clean and warming when we arrived. We were very pleased.

Great for our family vacation! The cabin included a high chair and games for the children. The landscape was beautiful. The bedrooms were cozy. Kitchen had everything we needed in it. The hot tub was well kept. Great entrance to the mountains and down the street from restaurants and a great coffee shop!

The space was perfect for our vacation with our oldest son and his family. The location in Wears Valley is close enough to get to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg without being consumed by their business. We loved the easy access to to the national park by secondary entrances.
The house was everything we need. Great shared space. Comfortable private space. A big kitchen and decks on all side—which were perfect for seeing at least one black bear every day.
Our host was very responsive and helpful with his instructions and suggestions.

The Cabin was Beautiful. Perfect for my Family of 5. Close to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Smokey Mountains National Park. We wanted the Great outdoor experience as well as the attractions nearby and staying at the cabin gave us everything. Loved the trails suggested by Justin. We went on some trails and views were breathtaking. My son loved the stream right behind the cabin, he caught some little fish. The hot tub was perfect for the one rainy day we got during our stay. We will Definitely be back! These Texans loved our 1st Tennessee experience at The Cabin!

Justin’s place is just as described and beautiful! My family stayed for a weekend and we enjoyed our time. We explored the Smoky Mountains, Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge. Location is great and the views are breathtaking. We definitely relaxed and had a great time. Justin is quick to respond, we had one minor issue and within a few hours it was taken care of.
Would love to stay here again!

This house was so lovely! It is located in a great location close to many attractions, yet is situated on a quiet and tranquil street. The scenery is stunning and the house is beautifully decorated, offers lots of space, and is fully equipped for a relaxing vacation. We really liked the jacuzzi on the back porch as well as the variety of seating on all sides of the house. It was perfect for taking in the beautiful views. Justin was very responsive and provided a great list of recommendations. I would highly recommend this property.

I cannot say enough about Justin’s place. It is absolutely serene. The views are amazing! The place is so cozy and beautiful - we really felt right at home. The beds were very comfy, smart TVs in all the rooms, and the gaming system was a huge hit! Chefs DREAM kitchen! The cabin was so clean and well maintained. It has anything and everything you could possibly need. The hot tub is magical at night with the porch lights on - so much nature to take in and listen to. There are so many great shops and restaurants right up the road. A super neat food truck park, chainsaw art, a really cute coffee shop, ice cream, a great pizza shop that has delicious fudge, jeep rentals and SO much more. It is a beautiful and not very long drive to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The locals are so friendly. This is a MUST stay. Justin was an amazing host - so helpful and responsive, and he offered links for activities, restaurants, sightseeing, grocery and more (and coupons)! We will definitely be back!! 🙂

Such a beautiful home and location. Nice little creek right off the back porch. Very central to so many activities, yet it was a quiet, private, and very nice location with beautiful views and surroundings. Really enjoyed our stay. Beds were very comfortable!
