Clean, great view and awesome location. Make sure you empty your vehicle the bears do like to visit. We had a momma bear and her cubs visit one morning. Highly recommend this place and you cannot beat the convenience with location.

Not enough words to describe our stay here. The views and peace is incredible. Justin is an amazing host. Our second day there we caught a bear right outside sitting by the trash cans. We had everything we needed to enjoy our trip!

Amazing cabin and a great location. We had fun with all the features in the cabin and enjoyed how the floorplan allowed everyone to have their own space. The location right in town, and within a short drive to lots of hiking and other day trips, was great, and it was private with an awesome view of the Smokies as well (especially from the hot tub!). Do make sure you're ready for bear interactions; while at the cabin we had encounters in both the driveway and on the patio (all went well).

This place is amazing! So peaceful and just minutes from downtown Gatlinburg. The deck is private, the amenities are perfect, and our stay was absolutely phenomenal! What stood out to me is how clean the Airbnb was. I can tell that the cleaners have a distinct attention to detail, as every room and bathroom was absolutely spotless. My family and I will definitely be returning to Gatlinburg and wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else!

We had a great stay at this cabin! It was in a great location, close to downtown but felt private, and easy to find. The one way street was a bit scary going up, but we never had any problems with it. The cabin itself was great for our family of four with plenty of room for us to spread out. We loved the basement games and movie theatre. Justin was responsive to all questions that I had very quickly. We will definitely be returning to this cabin in the future! Thank you Justin for allowing us to stay in your amazing cabin!

This cabin and view were great. Very open and spacious. Location was nice too - convenient/easy to get to Gatlinburg for activities/food, but up on side of mountain so we were not amongst the crowds.

A lovely place to stay! Super clean and spacious! The views were AMAZING! Amenities top notch. I felt safeThe pictures don't lie. Be prepared to see bears...we did! One visited our car and left paw prints on it and on the cement. We also saw one at a neighboring home.
We did have some issues finding the cabin in the dark. I would suggest the owners put a reflector or something to mark the property better. Once you pass the driveway there in no where to turn around!! Reverse is your only option and with it being pitch black we ended up having to call the non-emergency police number and get help backing down the mountain from local law enforcement who were hands down AMAZING! I asked the officers how often this happens and apparently it has happened to other non locals, so just be aware. I would not let this be a reason to not stay there because it really is a beautiful and peaceful place to stay! I would reccomend staying here to others and I would come again if given the opportunity.

We had an incredible stay at this cabin! The views were simply breathtaking—panoramic mountain vistas right from the porch, especially stunning at sunrise and sunset. The cabin itself was spotless, well-maintained, and incredibly comfortable. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared, from the cozy furnishings to the fully stocked kitchen. The location was ideal—peaceful and private, yet just a short drive to local attractions, hiking trails, and the national park. Whether we were relaxing in the hot tub, sipping coffee on the deck, or heading out to explore, it was the perfect home base. We couldn’t have asked for a better Smoky Mountains experience and can’t wait to come back!

Easy check in, host or management replied quickly when questions asked. If you wanted to see bears on your trip, this is definitely the place to go. A black bear and her cubs every day we were there. Make sure to lock and roll up your windows or you’ll definitely have a bear in your car. None of these things were bad though, we wanted to see bears and we got it for sure. Close to the mountains to go hiking. Kitchen could be stocked with bigger pots/pans to accommodate a big group staying. Other than that our stay was great. Was able to wake up and look out at the mountains every morning.

This is a large and lovely cabin for a Smoky Mountains hiking trip! Our 3 couples stayed here very comfortably for a week, cooking every night and enjoying the view, the hot tub, the pool table, and the movie theater. The drive is long an narrow, but we had no problems getting up it and parking. We definitely had bear visits by the grill, but black bears get annoyed at banging pots and wandered off. It was a perfect home base for daily hikes, all of which were spectacular!
If you are planning to cook for a long stay, do plan to bring the staples - oil, vinegar, tin foil, paper towels, tissues, laundry detergent, etc. The kitchen had salt and pepper, but that's about it. It was efficient like a managed property, rather than cosy like someone's home.

This place is kind of like a destination onto itself. The mountain views are gorgeous in the day and spectacular with the moon and Gatlinburg lights at night. Our grandkids (and the adults) loved the arcade games. We let the little ones pick the movies for our theater nights and munching on popcorn and leaning back in the reclining chairs made it feel like we were really at a theater. Gatlinburg and the Smokys occupied our days and Justin’s house our evenings. With two little ones, it just made evenings so much easier.

Had the most wonderful time. I would highly recommend this place numerous times. Walking inside we were greeted by a beautiful Christmas tree and fireplace. It just felt like home right away. The beds were so comfortable. The amenities were perfect. The kids loved the theater area and pool table.
The location is perfect. So much to do we were never bored, we were beat by the end of the day and coming to this cabin just made it even better, especially relaxing in the hot tub after snow tubing. Didn’t get to see a bear, maybe next time.
Justin was so beyond responsive and quick the minute I had a question.
This place is so highly recommended. Thank you Justin for everything.

We stayed for a long weekend with another family. The cabin is even better than the pictures. The view was phenomenal! GREAT location!! You’re pretty high in the mountains in gatlinburg which we loved but not far from town at all! About 10 minutes or less from gatlinburg and 15-20 minutes to pigeon forge. Definitely think we will be booking in the future for another stay!

What a wonderful, relaxing stay in the Misty Mountain Chalet. The accommodations were exactly as we hoped. A comfortable chalet, with plenty of space and very clean throughout. Three bedrooms, with a lower-level game room, for adults and children. The chalet has all you need for a vacation in Gatlinburg. Even though the chalet is less than fifteen minutes from the center of town, that fantastic, panoramic view was difficult to leave, every day.
Justin and his team were informative and very responsive, getting back to us about a few minor concerns. All issues were addressed to our complete satisfaction.
There is so much to see and experience in Gatlinburg, and surrounding areas. However, after a long day of sightseeing, we enjoyed returning to this very relaxing property. It was such a treat to sit on the large deck and watch the sunset over the Great Smoky Mountains. We were privileged to be there during a Full Moon, viewing the night sky and glowing Gatlinburg, in the valley.

This cabin was exactly what we needed for the week. The communication was truly top-notch, most helpful, and prompt from booking all the way through checkout. We greatly appreciated the proactive feedback and recommendation to use Google Maps to get to the location and had no issues at all getting there. The roads were easy to navigate even in the dark.
The cabin was AMAZING and we felt right at home. The breathtaking views and comfortable amenities really made us not want to leave. We often found ourselves back to the cabin much earlier in the evening than previous years while staying in other properties because we enjoyed being there so much. We watched movies in the theater room nearly every night, played pool, my son enjoyed the arcade games, and we seriously could’ve sat on the back deck taking in the stunning views endlessly.
We will ABSOLUTELY be looking to book this property in the future. Many amazing memories made! Thank you, Justin & Kari for sharing this gem with us.

My family had a wonderful stay at Justin's place! The home was very clean and had plenty of room. It's just as described and was very peaceful. The views from the deck were great as well. It was also very close to all attractions, etc. We really enjoyed coming home after being out all day and watching a movie each evening in the theater area. This cabin is so beautiful! Our absolute favorite thing was the view!! We have never stayed in a cabin this high up the mountain. It was such a nice experience! Upon entry, the house was spotless and we love that in a rental. Plenty of linens, pots & pans, and everything needed to enjoy a getaway. Basement has lots of amenities to keep kids as well as adults busy. Deck has lots of space to enjoy sunrise/sunset with a cup of coffee. While here, we saw lots of bears which was a highlight for the kids. We did make sure to always have the doors locked to the cars & cabin. Justin responded to all questions we had and replied within the hour! Super friendly host and would definitely stay here again! No complaints at all for our stay, it was super peaceful in the mountains and the view alone is worth the price. 10/10 recommend!!

We had a fantastic stay! The view off the deck was amazing. The location was perfect, very close to the Main Street. We even saw a bear close on our way back up to the house! Very cool! Justin was a great host! We had an issue with the hot tub not heating and he was very responsive and helpful. He sent out a technician to look at the hot tub. We were even able to extend our stay one more day. My only minor complaints would be the chairs on the deck, 3 of them were ripped and the rest were pretty weathered bad so we were not able to sit outside on the deck. My other complaint would be the showers and bath tub jets had some black mold. Other than that it was clean and we had access to dishes/pots and pans to cook dinners! Would recommend!!

A very beautiful location to see Gatlinburg. The view from the porch each morning as the sun came up was breathtaking. The location was also fairly close to the downtown strip. Great place! The view from the back deck is perfect. Probably one of the cleanest places we've stayed. Loved the game room. We were a little surprised that the beds were not upgraded to match the other updates throughout the home, but we slept well. We had a bear visitor on the 2nd day which was both exciting and slightly terrifying 😂 This being our first time in Gatlinburg, we were not prepared for the ascent up the mountain to the house but quickly learned that is to be expected anywhere you go in the Great Smoky Mountains. The location was convenient to the main strip, local coffee shops, a grocery store and a great little pancake house. We would certainly stay here again!

DO NOT hesitate to stay here!! Justin will respond faster than you can type. Everything you need to make it feel at home and so relaxed. There is so much room for a huge family or fun for a few. We stayed in often and played board games, pool, arcade games and poker. The pictures do not encapsulate the true vision of this place. you will find yourself on the wrapped porch just staring at the mountains. Can get to down town in minutes and also bypass it to get to pigeon forge and other activities. 5+ stars. Very happy we chose this
