The house was beautiful lovely decorations! And beautiful views! We were able to see bears the first day and the third day they walked right up to the cabin a mama and her cub. Shane was very responsive and friendly!we would stay again!

This was my first time booking with Airbnb, and I’m sure glad I chose to book with Shane! He made everything from when I first to when we left as smooth as possible! I would recommend Shane and his cabins over and over. I can’t wait to return soon!

What a wonderful place. We did a last minute needed family vacation. Want to see a bear you will staying here. Every day we saw a momma and 3 babies walking passed our cabin. This place was so relaxing.

This was the perfect place for our weekend getaway! Shane let us know to use Google maps in order to find the cabin easier, and we had no problems navigating the twisting turns and steep hills. The cabin was beautiful and we felt right at home. We were out and about most of the time we were there, but it was so nice to have a cozy home to come back to at the end of a busy day. It was clean; the beds were SO comfortable; there was plenty of room for us to spread out. We would love to come back!

We really enjoyed our stay. The hosts were fantastic—responsive, welcoming, and their information was spot on. The cabin itself was beautifully decorated and I loved the taxidermy. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an authentic log cabin experience.

We loved our stay at Shane’s property. It was just as picturesque in person as in the listing. We were about 15 minutes out from Pigeon Forge, so just close enough to enjoy all the fun there and just far enough away to enough the quiet and beauty of nature when we wanted to. The drive to Gaitlinburg and the Smoky Mountains National Park was so easy and both were great areas to visit. Shane was an exceptional host and we would highly recommend him and hope to visit again in the future!

We enjoyed our weekend getaway. The place was really nice and clean with plenty of room for us to spread out. The roads leading in can be a little narrow and step. Overall we had a great time.

What a cool cabin. We had a blast playing foosball, the grandaughters enjoyed the hot tub, and what Gorgeous views from the back windows and deck, the decor was awesome, from the rustic wooden dining room table to the bear carvings and fox and hornets nest up in the vaulted cieling.

Being able to watch the sun rise each morning over the mountain was beautiful! We enjoyed sitting out on the deck just taking in the surroundings and the hot tub in the evenings. We were able to spot a bear and some other wildlife in the distance. Justin in Kari were quick to get back to us on any questions we had. The cabin had everything we needed.

We just returned from a 4 night stay at the Mountain Man cabin and had a wonderful, relaxing stay. There were just 3 of us so there was plenty of room and everyone had their own space. The cabin was spotless and everything was just like the pictures we saw. The views from the back deck were awesome. There are some tight curves and big hills on the drive to the cabin, but we made it just fine.
All in all, it was a great stay and we would definitely stay there again!

Our experience with this property was wonderful. It’s close to so many activities in both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The cabin is beautiful, clean and stocked with all the essentials. Communication with the host was always prompt from booking right through our stay.

Beautiful, cozy cabin in a great location between Townsend and Pigeon Forge. Clean and inviting, new decking and parking for 3 cars. Host is responsive but not super helpful. We had to buy propane for the grill. The tank was empty and we were told to buy our own. Bears were at the cabin everyday and we loved seeing them, but if you have small kids, watch them closely. One door on the porch doesn’t open so you can’t get back into the house quickly if a bear approaches. Overall a great place to stay in the mountains. Loved the location and would stay there again.

Little notes on the fridge let us know everything we needed as soon as we walked in! The video for the lock on the door helps to lock and unlock it which was great! Our host was so communicative and made our stay so easy and stress free! Even messaged me back within 5 minutes at 3am with a silly question I figured I'd get a response for in the morning! My two year old nephew was so amazed seeing bears walk right up to our cabin! Over all loved our stay and would highly recommend! Even the store staff was super helpful and a five-ten minute drive away!

08/17-08/20/2023! EVERYTHING was wonderful. The cabin felt like home, very roomy, clean. The location of the cabin was 20-30 minutes near all the entertainment which was wonderful! During our stay my family and I was able to see a bear 🐻 who also love what we cooked🤣 Hot tub was very peaceful, beds were comfortable. The host was very active and communicated fast! The only sad thing I have to say is I hate we had to leave lol we need more time. Highly recommend!

The property was amazing and the pictures and description of the unit are rite on .. We got more then expected.. The owners were very nice and easy to work with … check in and out process was no hassle and easy .. We really enjoyed are family time with the kids and grandkids the cabin was spacious and the pool table and arcade machine was nice for all … everything we needed was there .. Bears were a daily visitor with 13 are second day and over 30 for are stay from cubs to big bears .. location was good and close to attractions but out of way just enough.. we will definitely be renting again thanks for sharing ur home and time with us The Reeves Family

Our stay was amazing. The first day we saw three black bears come up to the porch! I would definitely go back and stay at this house enough room for all 9 of us. The owners did very good with communication!

We had a great stay at Shane’s place. The listing should show Townsend as the closest location. We had functions in Knoxville and they proved to be over a hour away. Other than that glitch the place was awesome. And the Smoky Mountains were very close. If you’re visiting from out of town… I would highly recommend doing Roaring Fork Nature Trail near Gatlinburg.
