This cabin was clean, nicely furnished and spacious. Communication was good. I’ve stayed in different cabins from this owner and they have all been 10’s. We had a bear visit daily, or more. I got a 3 minute video of a bear directly below our back porch; nibbling at vegetation, scratching fleas, and investigating. National Geographic quality, as he was only about 8 feet away, straight down from us. We had bear paw (mud) prints on car doors but no entry or damage. Caution that the complex is a little tricky to find. The turn off Wiley Oakley simply says “Private Drive” and does not offer a street name. You do need to be bear-aware going to or from your car. But with proper precaution, this is a great place to stay.

Cousins Getaway
My cousins and I decided to meet up midway between Missouri and North Carolina. I found this house and it was perfect. As all adults, we needed plenty bedrooms and bathrooms. The decks on the back were where we spent every morning talking.The house was well equipped with anything we could have needed. I was unsure about the roads getting to it, but it was easy to navigate. We were close to Gatlinburg, and just a drive away from Pigeon Forge. The view was absolutely stunning from all decks.The highlight was seeing bears everyday. I would have been happy with one but was over the moon at seeing one everyday. This is the perfect place to see them. We have already talked about going back!!Thank you for an amazing vacation for me and my cousins to be able to reconnect!

Wonderful place!
The home was perfect for our family of three adults & two kids. Plenty of room, kitchen well stocked, very clean, comfortable beds & the location is great. Awesome views of the mountains! The homeowner was quick to respond & check in was very easy. Overall, great place & we would stay there again!

The mountain views from the porch were even more breathtaking in person than the photos could ever capture. Every morning, we started our day with coffee on the porch, soaking in a view that was, quite simply, stunning. We slept great, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the hot tub was the perfect way to unwind after a long day of exploring. Our family had an amazing time. We had a small hiccup with the door code when we arrived, but it was resolved quickly and professionally. Five stars, we’d love to stay again!

This 3BR 3.5BA chalet was a great place to stay. Spacious, clean, nice location with a nice view of Mt LeConte. We appreciated Justin’s helpful suggestions and he was very responsive to our questions. Would highly recommend this rental.

Black bear encounter
Property was easy to find and in a perfect location for both Gatlingburg and the Smoky Mountains trails.With a party of five, the house was spacious, comfortable and very homely and after a day’s hiking was a welcome retreat to come back to.Despite the cold and wet weather, it was nice to spend time in the hot tub followed by a few games of pool in the evening.Would certainly book again if we visit the area in the future.And yes, on our last day we saw a female black bear and her three cubs which was a perfect end to a great stay.

We had a wonderful stay. The view from the top balcony is amazing! The pictures just don’t do it justice. The views on the drive up to the home are also beautiful.
We found this home was in a great location to hiking trails, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.
We did have to contact Justin about a couple of things. He was very responsive and handled our issue promptly.
We stayed at the property for 7 days. There are plenty of dishes, kitchen items and towels. The property does have salt & pepper and a few other spices as well. We cooked dinner almost every night and found everything to make that happen. We also used the grill and ate out on the balcony. If you are staying for more than a couple days, make sure to bring trash bags and shampoo.
Our family enjoyed the hot tub and games on the lower level.
We had a wonderful experience and would stay here again!

We had an amazing time on our trip. We were blessed with beautiful snow falling New Years Day morning.The location was perfect. It was a short drive to town and the bypass. The owners were very responsive to our questions and made sure we felt welcomed. We especially loved the spectacular view! The 3 level decks and windows allowed you to see Gods beautiful creation, Mt Leconte. The hot tub, fire place and pool table were added bonuses for our family! The house was very clean and equipped with a coffee bar and everything you need to cook with. Our stay was outstanding and would highly recommend this home. Great place to bring your family to make beautiful memories! Thank you again for allowing us to rent your home!

Justin's home was just as described. Beautiful home, secluded location and perfect for relaxing and spending time with the family. The gameroom was great along with 3 levels of decks including the hot tub to sit in and take in the scenery. Location was perfect for getting in and out of the Gatlinburg hustle and bustle. Minutes to everything and quick drive to Pigeon Forge.

My entire cabin trip group enjoyed this stay a lot. It was everything that we believed it to be, and we were impressed. There were some small issues and concerns, but Justin and I were able to discuss these issues once we checked out. I love that he was able to accept my feedback so well without becoming hostile. Again, it was nothing major but there was just things that I had to point for him to be aware moving forward. Love, love, love the home and scenery as I highly recommend anyone to stay at. Also, please take your time driving through the mountain if this is something you’re not used to.

We had a great stay during our time in Gatlinburg. Justin was a great host, at any point if I had an issue he was quick to respond and give me a solution. My husband and I travel to Gatlinburg often…..this was by far our favorite home we stayed in. The view from the back deck was AMAZING. The home was clean and just as the listing stated. It was only about a 5-7 minute drive to downtown Gatlinburg. We did not have any trouble finding the house or checking in and out. Justins proactive instructions made it a breeze. I only had a couple of questions for him and he responded within 15 minutes each time. I would highly recommend renting from Justin and this beautiful cabin with breathtaking views.

The house was amazing, clean from top to bottom, the location was a bit of a hill climb. The Mountain scenery was really beautiful at sunrise and sunset. We saw a couple of bears out for a stroll in the neighborhood. If we are ever in the area again, we wouldn't hesitate to rent one of these properties again. Very, very nice!

Justin’s house was amazing! The house looks exactly like the photos and has some breathtaking views of the mountains. We were even able to see some bears! He was very responsive & provided great recommendations. The only down side was we had to go back home. If you come to Gatlinburg or the surrounding areas I highly recommend Justin’s home! We will definitely be back again.

Great location, breathtaking views, especially from the top floor balcony! The house was very well kept, provided complete privacy from neighbors, very spacious and well-stocked with amenities. Host was very responsive. Not a lot of negatives - had a little bit of trouble with the door code as it was too lengthy, but nothing too major of an inconvenience. Would highly recommend!
