Smoky Mountain Holiday staff

Our stay at the cabin was so peaceful and cozy. If you like being up in the mountains, then this is the place for you! The highlight of our trip was having a visit by a momma bear and her 2 cubs! So cute! They came right to the front door! Having a hot tub to relax in each night after our busy days in Gatlinburg and Pidgeon Forge was very inviting. A jacuzzi tub in each bedroom was a nice added touch. Loved the cabin decor all the way from the furniture to the bedspreads and more! We were also able to view a fireworks show each night from the deck which I am guessing was done by Dollywood. There was such a beautiful view of the mountains also. And many a cup of coffee was enjoyed on the deck. If we ever get a chance to come back to the area, I would stay again at this cute cabin! Just wish I would have come at a cooler time of year when we could have taken advantage of the use of the fireplace!

We enjoyed our stay! The cabin was clean and very well kept. It was a short drive to Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg. We had 2 full size vehicles, so getting parked was a little sketchy. The road is steep, so it was hard to turn around. If you were in a smaller car, I think it would have been better. Overall, we had a great time and everyone enjoyed the cabin!

Enjoyed the cabin. Perfect size for my husband and I, my 2 teenagers and mother-in-law. What really made our stay was the mama bear and her babies. They visited almost every morning and evening. We respected her space and enjoyed watching the babies playing in the trees.

This place was worth the drive up the mountain. Very secluded. The BEST part of our stay was seeing the bear. It was really awesome to have that experience. The house itself was clean and great! Kids loved the downstairs/ game room. Fully stocked with everything you need. Do your grocery shopping before you go up mountain. Will save you a trip. Everything was amazing! Thanks for sharing your home.

The cabin is wonderful! We had a great time! It was very clean, had lots of room & looked just as described in the pictures. The location is perfect & so peaceful. Shane & Justin were very responsive from the time I booked & to answer any questions throughout. It's great for children. If you're looking for a nice place to stay I highly recommend this place!

The cabin is beautiful and in a very peaceful and scenic area. Getting there is a little treacherous and I would recommend arriving before dark. Be aware that it is a log cabin and sound proofing is a bit challenging. The hot tub was very nice after a long hike in the Great Smoky Mountains! The kitchen is tight but very well equipped. It has both a drip coffee pot and a Keurig, lots of pots and pans, and the host left just enough dish washer soap and laundry detergent.

A trip for the books! Our stay in Shane’s Cabin was a great experience! The cabin was very clean, included a lot of amenities, and was in such a prime location!! Very private location, but was so close to Pigeon Forge, where we spent most of our time. We were able to see two bears while we were there and it was an awesome experience for our kids! We are already talking about coming back next year.

For the days that we were there, we were able to easily get into the city after going through the hills. We were close to a lot of trails and restaurants. The house was very clean and there were a lot of clear instructions on how to use specific amenities around the house.

Shane and Justin were great! The cabin was amazing. We love coming down to the Smokey’s at least once a year. The cabin is located in the general area we normally stay which is pretty centrally located between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The hot tub wasn’t working and justin sent us a list of things we could attempt to trouble shoot. When those things didn’t work, they had someone out there next morning and had it fixed in time for us to enjoy it later that evening. Highly recommend staying with them!

I had a vacation with friends, and this cabin was exactly what we were looking for—and even better than expected! It’s close to Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountain trails, making it easy to get around. The cabin itself is clean, well-decorated, and perfect for a family getaway. I’d love to come back if I get the chance to visit Gatlinburg again!

This was the best cabin for a nice relaxing weekend getaway I highly recommend this home to anyone wanting a spacious yet relaxing and scenic bear spotting vacation. Will definitely be booking here again for future trips to Gatlinburg/ Pigeon forge TN

Great stay! Felt comfortable and peaceful! Everything was nice and clean, but the kitchen table was a little sticky. We had trouble locating the outside trash cans but Shane was always responsive with every question and/or concern!

This is a Beautiful Place back in off th beaten path..nice and secluded with a pretty view. Th Hot Tub didnt work when we got there. But they were very prompt and kind about getting it fixed that day yet..and it was a Saturday. We hope to be back someday.

Beautiful place and it was exactly like the pictures. We had such a awesome time ,with wonderful memories made .The owners responded right away with any questions we had .We truly loved the place .The extra lill perk was we got to see a moma bear and her baby cubs .
