I never do reviews. Honestly as long as the place is decently as advertised, Im all good. I want to save someone the aggravation we had. We rented due to decent price for size and the fact that it said in listing it had a travel crib and high chair. We had a 1 yo with us and were loaded down.Upon entering the cabin, we searched every inch and could not find the pack and play. There is a nice high chair. All things considered, I personally would MUCH rather there be a pack and play. We could not limit his space, we had very hard time getting him to sleep. We worried about safety constantly. I included pics from my chat on vrbo with the management company and also the info the management company sent me. After waiting about an hour for a response about both excessive heat in the cabin, and lack of pack and play the management guy says it isn't in the vrbo listing. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt it was. He changed the listing while waiting to message back. The crew never got back to me about a playpen. We never got a credit or partial refund. Place was clean. Rooms decent. Deck boards others complained of seem to have been replaced. Basement smells of mildew(?), but my daughter and boyfriend didnt seem to mind. There IS a crockpot and some basic kit hen things. Similar to other places I've sayed Driveway is hard to get in and out. I wouldnt stay here again due to cabin being too hot and the management company.

The house was beautiful. We enjoyed ourselves. They checked on us. They made sure we had everything we need as an infant items. They had the dishes. They even had games. The view was beautiful. I have no complaints. It was a wonderful stay and I will stay again and again

Idyllic Smoky Mountain Retreat!

This property is perfectly situated. Close enough to the hustle & bustle of Pigeon Forge, Dollywood etc, if that’s your thing, but after a very short drive you feel like you’re in the wilderness with fantastic views of Smoky Mountains.The property was very spacious with plenty of seating, restrooms & shower rooms for our party of 6. Certainly the nicest place we stayed during our trip.We weren’t lucky enough to have any bears visit, but did enjoy a firefly display from the hot tub one evening!Communication with Justin was excellent throughout, with quick responses to any queries raised and a genuine desire for us to have enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Getaway

This cabin is a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. Nestled a short drive from Gatlinburg's downtown area, The drive from the cabin into Pigeon Forge is short and beautiful. Homey and spacious cabin!

We had a great time at Pinecone Cottage! 9 of us spent a birthday weekend celebrating. It was close enough to town to be able to get to everything, yet felt very secluded. The cabin had everything we needed. Plenty of space and felt super cozy. There were a few minor things we noticed, but nothing to make our stay not enjoyable, just things to let the host know.The roads to the cabin are intimidating if you have a large vehicle, or aren't prepared. The driveway is a little difficult to navigate for more than 2-3 cars, but we figured it out!

This cottage is so cute! Nice view of the mountains and plenty of space. We had such a fun time in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, they weren’t a far drive at all. The hosts were very responsive and nice.

The cabin can use some fixing. We were also told a cleaning crew came out and cleaned beforehand, however, there were pubic hairs all over the bathroom floor and toothpaste on the wall of the top floor bathroom. There was a hole cut out in the main bathroom, and the shottiest work was done to fix it. Also, the popcorn and ceiling paint had peeled off. A patch of paint the size of an iPhone 15 had peeled off from the ceiling and fallen to the floor. I guess the cleaning crew missed that one, too.. You have to pay $50 to check in early or for each hour after 10AM on your checkout day, or if you get caught smoking on the property. We declined early check in and still have to pay $100 in fees. The bears are cool, though. Oh, and the bottom floor smells like straight urine.

The cabin was beautiful I wish we had longer than 3 nights to stay! I love how everything was provided with families in mind including safety gates for stairs and play pens. The basement room was perfect to seclude from the rest of the house. The view of the mountains was beautiful, definitely at the very top of the mountain which the drive up you definitely gave you tame your time and be cautious .. the cabin was centered to everything we wanted to do and the host was very mindful to send all information and communicate in advance

The cabin was very close to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge depending upon what you are wanting to do for the day. Quiet location with a beautiful view of the mountain. Very comfortable and perfect for our family of five to relax after a long day of seeing the sites. Totally recommend as we plan on rebooking for our next trip back here.

Great weekend away from the city to celebrate moms birthday 🎂 so much to do around the area definitely recommend driving down to the strip and doing some wine/moonshine tasting highly recommend the Bubble Gump factory , and going up to Anakeesta ♥️ I make the drive to Gatlinburg every year but by far this cabin was my favorite so peaceful and relaxing host was responsive and welcoming! Clean, with all extra amenities to cook felt right at home thank you !
