Featuring roomy interiors, a fireplace, and outdoor porches tailored for leisurely moments with a glass of wine, our cabin offers ultimate relaxation. Conveniently situated on Bear Mountain, you're just a brief drive (20 mins) from Pigeon Forge, all while relishing the peaceful ambiance of mountain living!

"Sleepy Bear" is the perfect cabin for you and your loved ones to experience a TRUE mountain get-away. Secluded in your own "holler," you can kick back on the porch and take in the sights and sounds of wildlife, while enjoying the peaceful wooded views. In addition, our cabin offers a newly renovated and updated interior, complete with cabin charm and mountain style and all the amenities you need to make your vacation a memorable one!

This one-level home offers a spacious living area with a cozy stone fireplace, perfect for snuggling in the evening! With new cabin-chic décor, comfortable couches & furniture, 43" flat screen TV, work nook, and free Wi-Fi, you and your guests will be comfortable and relaxed the minute you arrive to Sleepy Bear.

Fully equipped and modern kitchen, granite countertops, dishwasher, full size refrigerator, coffee maker, blender, Crockpot, toaster, coffee bar, and large breakfast bar that can comfortably seat 4-6 guests.

★ OUTDOOR LIVING & ENTERTAINMENT★
When you walk out onto the deck, you are surrounded by nature and wooded views. Relax on one of the porch chairs and enjoy wildlife viewing as you sip coffee in the morning or a glass of wine (or moonshine!) at the end of the day while stargazing into the mountain sky. Complete your day surrounded by the silence of the Smokies. Inside, stay entertained with the 43" screen TV, perfect for that evening movie, or open up a board game to play with the family in front of the fire. Free wifi is also available throughout the cabin.

Complimentary starter toiletries, linens/towels, free WiFi, air conditioning, heat, washer and dryer.

Bears are indigenous to the area and are often seen near or on our properties. Please do not leave food or trash outside.

• No AC in Unit
• There is a wall unit in the living room behind the curtain for the AC
• There are baseboard heaters in the two bedrooms to the left.
• Portable heater in the master bedroom to the right.

Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Sevierville are the three main cities that comprise the area. Everything is spread out a bit and there are amazing things to keep you busy...

- Amazing dinner shows to entertain kids of all ages

Sleepy Bear is located on Bear Mountain, which is approximately a 20 minute drive from Pigeon Forge, Splash Country ; Dollywood, and 25-30 minute drive to Gatlinburg. Since our cabin is located in the mountains, expect curvy mountain roads and some steep inclines that can be narrow at times. There are also paved and gravel roads leading to our cabin, and therefore use of motorcycles or trailers is not recommended.

While this is a single level home, there are steps (approx. 8) to get up to the front door.

Amazing spacious 3 bed room cabin. Nestled in the woods. All the amenities you could ever want to cook, grill and relax. The hot tube is spacious and private. It is out a ways from the hussle and bussle of the busy town. Peferct get away but not to far if you want to enjoy shopping, restaurant and event happen in pigeon forge and gatlinburg.

Beautiful cabin

Very nice cabin. Had plenty of room. 3 big bedrooms and 2 full baths. Hot tub was clean and hot. Kitchenware supplied. Make sure you buy toilet paper (1-2 rolls provided), napkins, any condiments (including oil, butter, salt, pepper, or any spices), coffee essentials as they are not provided. Communication with the owner/manager was very fast and efficient. They did not have an iron or ironing board, but one was dropped off the same day..

When thinking of the Smokey Mountains I think peace serenity and log cabin. This is exactly what you get. Quiet, peaceful and nature at its best. Close to Dollywood, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg but no city life. I recommend Shane and Justin as hosts to you anytime.

Cabin was difficult to find at first, however, the assistant was very helpful when we called. Would recommend moving sign to a more visible place. Beautiful cabin. Very clean. Had an issue with the refrigerator but a new one was delivered in less than 4 hours! Great response! Area is very quiet and relaxing. Close to the fun also! Beds were comfortable and front deck was a great place to relax and enjoy the nature. Would definitely stay again.

Great little cabin close to Dollywood! We will be back.

We enjoyed our stay at Sleepy Bear! Super impressed with the kitchen and all the extras provided - blender, crockpot, 2 styles of coffee pots, zip lock bags, and even spices. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were nice and clean. Driveway was easy to access in my minivan. The place had a total seclusion feel even though there were a few other cabins within earshot. We were able to visit all our favorite touristy places within 20-30 min from the cabin. The one and only thing I would “warn” people on is that the “air conditioning” listed is a window unit in the living area. There is no central AC connected to all the rooms. The living/kitchen area stays nice and cool with the window unit running, but the bedrooms were hot. Even with ceiling fans and box fans (provided) running, it was just circulating hot air. If you’re someone (like me) who likes it cold while you’re sleeping, this might be an issue. If that’s not a deal breaker for you, rent this cabin!

Peaceful setting in the mountains.
Away from the hustle of Pigeon Forge with well maintained roads and easy to get into town within 15 minutes.
The absolute best stocked kitchen I’ve ever seen in a cabin.
Nice for those of us who don’t like to eat out all the time.
The cabin was clean and cozy. The king bed was so comfortable!

Great place to stay if you have littles

For our first family vacation we absolutely loved it. The cabin is up in the mountains and the road was curvy it felt like a rollercoaster as my 3 yr old called it.. the hot tub was relaxing the bed where comfortable. It was a beautiful stay can’t wait to go back
