Very beautiful house and views. Well worth the stay! Even had a friendly bear walk up on the balcony! The house was in a great location and Shane was extremely helpful with all requests! Will definitely look back at this location next year for our family mountain trip!

Had an amazing stay at this cozy cabin in Sevierville, TN! Peaceful location with beautiful mountain views, yet close to all the attractions. The place was spotless, well-stocked, and the hot tub was a great bonus. Super smooth check-in and a great host. Highly recommend — would definitely stay again!

This place was an awesome find . The drive is a bit steep but after the first time going up and down it easy. With this being located in the Shag Bark resort this a very private and exclusive setting. I really don’t want to recommend this one as I don’t want the word to get out on how awesome of a place this is. We will definitely be back. The two other families that were part of this adventure absolutely loved this place. I visit the smokies a few times and we don’t like being around the crowds. This place is absolutely fantastic. The only negative thing was we noticed there was enough towels for the bathrooms.

Amazing views! Tons of space! We stayed as a family of 12 and did not feel cramped ever. Kids loved the foosball, air hockey and arcade game. The double deck (one above and one below) was amazing. We would absolutely stay here again. Easy drive into Pigeon Forge.

This very inviting cabin was perfect for our extended family's vacation. The three levels of bedrooms provide separation and privacy when desired, and the two large living spaces are perfect for gathering. The two spacious decks have plenty of seating and great views. Kitchen has everything you could need, and bathrooms are large and up to date. The classic arcade games are fun for all. We would love to visit this property again.

We loved our family vacation at Snail’s Pace. We stayed there with 7 of us, ages 14-77. The property is beautiful and well-maintained with gorgeous views of the Smoky Mountains. There was plenty of deck furniture that allowed us to be outside together. The string lights on the lower deck, the wall-mounted outdoor ring game, and the hot tub were enjoyed by all of us as well.The inside of the cabin was great for our family. It was clean and spacious. There are multiple ample bedrooms, bathrooms with showers, and a convenient half bath off the living room. The kitchen had everything we needed for preparing meals, as well as a pantry with extra storage space and a nice washer and dryer. The dining table was large enough to comfortably seat our group. We appreciated the two separate living rooms so our family could spread out and enjoy multiple activities. The game tables and arcade in the lower level provided a lot of fun. The gated Shagbark community was very nice and we felt safe. The reservation, check-in, and check-out processes were all very simple and there was prompt and clear communications from the host. We found the location of the cabin to be both convenient and beautifully secluded. We enjoyed the short, scenic drive to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Snail’s Pace and will return if our travels bring us back to the Smoky Mountains.

Beautiful home as pictured! We had 1p people, 5years to 75 years and we all loved the layout and comfortable beds. Road up is a bit steep, but the views were worth it and it would not stop me from booking but have your vehicle and nerves ready. After a few rides i was good but i would not hazard in poor weather conditions. Gated community added to quiet and security. This place gets you amazing views and serenity in a great layout, it was easy to get to busy areas like Dollywood and come back for peace. Book it now!

The home was great I loved that there were 3 floors for 2 families and kids. Allowed a lot of privacy in the house as well as the multiple decks and large gathering area on the central floor. Very accommodating. Would love to stay there again when visiting the area.

The snails place cabin is great stay if you’re looking for a private place, off the beaten path, with good views.
The cabin is nestled atop a large private driveway with enough space for two vehicles to park comfortably. The road leading up to it is steep and windy, prepare to use your emergency break!
The team that runs this operation was over communicative and very timely in getting back to us as needed. Additionally, upon booking they were quick to share various local deals and curated activities for first time travelers to the area.
Cell service at the location was a bit spotty (for most major carriers), but the fast wireless internet made up for that as we reached the home.
I understand the circumstances leading to the infestation is outside of the hosts control—however my only negative feedback is there was an excessive amount of dead ladybugs due to an overwhelming amount of them in the surrounding area and cleaning staff missing these locations for seemingly quite a while.

We loved it here and the host was great. Very responsive and had lots of recommendations through our stay. The house was great and fit all of our needs. The only thing I wish I had known was that the driveway was very steep just so I could mentally prepare 😅 Great stay!

Place was ABSOLUTELY stunning! The views were everything! The house was beautiful! Only thing I’d suggest is updating the “how to get in” key lock thingy. The video that was attached to link didn’t match the key lock. Also the key lock to get the key was on the stairs not on the door. But overall everything was great!!!! Would 10000/10000 recommend. Celebrated my 29th birthday with my family and it went beautifully. Thank you!

We had an amazing stay here! The cabin was spotless and had stunning views. The game room and hot tub were the highlights of our visit. The host was very responsive and has a maintenance guy on hand if anything isn’t working! We will definitely be back!

Our extended family, which included grandparents and in-laws and a toddler, had a wonderful time at the cabin. They had baby gates for the stairs and a high chair, which were extremely useful. There was plenty of space for the 7 adults and one toddler.
Best of all, we saw a bear on the property twice for the short week we were there! Take the bear warnings seriously, keep food inside and lock the car and house, because that bear looked around and into our cars before wandering off. We were safely inside and though a little scared, we were also very excited!
The drive up to the cabin is a little long and windy and steepish, which makes sense for a cabin with a view, but it only took a day to get used to it.
The owners were very responsive as well.
Overall we enjoyed and felt that we had the Smoky Mountain cabin experience.

We had a great time here! Beautiful views and very clean Airbnb. They even had a high chair, kid dishes, and baby safety gates installed on every stairwell that made our stay stress free! We enjoyed the pool and playground available for visitors. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful cabin! Although this cabin is inside of a community you are still secluded from neighbors. Very quiet and beautiful scenery. Cabin was exactly as described and felt even more spacious than the pictures depicted. The hosts are wonderful, very responsive in a timely fashion and answered all questions. I would recommend to anyone visiting Sevierville or nearby Pigeon Forge.

My family and me recently stayed at this cabin in the Smokey Mountains, and it was an exceptional experience! The cabin was very clean and incredibly peaceful, offering a perfect retreat from everyday life. There was so much to do at the cabin we hardly felt like leaving but when we did go out it was close to some great hikes and all the other local attractions. The host was also very responsive and attentive to our needs. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of the Smokey Mountains!

Shane’s place is great. We had a couples weekend and the two master with private baths was exactly what we wanted.
We did have a bear visit us while we were there so make sure you don’t leave anything out.
Plenty of linens and extra blankets. Great space. Big table. Only parking for 4 cars max.
Don’t be put off by all the questions they ask, it is a gated community and well worth providing extra info!
The only thing I wanted that I didn’t see was a few extra frying pans to cook breakfast.
Top notch! I will book here again on my future trips.

We absolutely loved the house! The view was beautiful. We had 3 small children in our group and looked forward to coming back to this peaceful, lovely home every night. We hope to come back soon because everyone in our family absolutely loved this house. There were just a few small problems. There was a problem with the lockbox when we arrived. My husband and I had difficulty with the codes and the lockbox. We were realtors so we are familiar with opening a lockbox. There was a problem opening it, and then actually unlocking the door. However, the person who answered the phone when we called was very nice, and helpful. Just a pre-warning....the driveway is very steep! We had several people who accidentally turned up the driveway thinking it was a road. We helped them get turned around and back down the driveway - which wasn't the easiest for some of them. All in all, it is a wonderful home and we enjoyed every minute of our stay!

This cabin is very roomy and has the most spectacular view. We had a fantastic and restful time. The hosts were very responsive whenever we had questions or needed assistance with something.
Some things to keep in mind if you are considering this cabin are that it is quite a steep, winding driveway to get to the cabin. There are also lots of stairs, so if you have mobility issues, this may not be for you.
If you don't have mobility issues and your car can make it up the steep climb to the cabin, I highly recommend this cabin. It is gorgeous and well kempt. The view is AMAZING and so worth it! It is also conveniently located to many attractions in the Sevierville/Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area. We throughly enjoyed our stay!

Our stay was wonderful. It was easy to check-in, everything we needed was provided. We were given a guide of the best things to do in area that was helpful. He also had coupons for us to use. The space was very roomy and comfortable. The view was beautiful. The hot tub was also great. We really liked that we were not next to other cabins and had privacy.
