Sunset Above the Smokies

We absolutely adored this house. My kids loved the upstairs setup. We played games outside while watching the sunset, all games provided like the photos. We had Mario kart tournaments late night, and my husband and I relaxed in the jacuzzi after long days of hiking. The beds were very comfortable and I love the cozy cabin modern feel of it. Host was amazing and responsive within 10-20 min. Which was great. We loved the location as well as it was all within a 15 min drive to gatlinburg town and pigeon forge. We would 100% come back to this exact cabin next year if we could! It’s a beaut!!!!

The cabin is brand new & beautiful. They charge $50 for early check in, if the cleaning has been completed, which is understandable, however, when we got there at 4pm, the cleaner was still there and not ready for us to get into the cabin. After driving all day in the excessive heat, that was a little frustrating. We had been communicating earlier in the day about an earlier check in, it would have been nice to know the cleaner had been running behind. She had an emergency that prevented her from getting in, which is understandable but the communication about it could have been handled differently. Since we had arrived, I know that added pressure to her to quickly clean, which the house wasn't truly as clean as it could have been. I highly doubt this is a regular occurrence & can happen to any property booked, we just would have appreciated communication. We are still waiting on our military discount refund so I recommend adjusting the rental cost before paying. Would stay here again.

This cabin was absolutely amazing. They had everything we wanted for a family of five. Our three kids had a blast playing all of the games. We spent many nights on the balcony playing cornhole. There was something for everyone ranging all different ages. The cabin was very clean and beautiful. Just be careful with the bears.

Beautiful new build, unbeatable location, perfect for families
This cabin checked every box for our family trip. The location is the real win — tucked up in the woods for that quiet, private cabin feel, but you’re minutes from both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Easy enough in-and-out access, just up a few curvy roads from the main highway.
The cabin itself is beautifully done and clearly new — everything felt fresh, clean, and well thought out. Our daughter loved it, and it was genuinely set up well for families.
Two small notes, otherwise they’ve thought of everything: the bed pillows are very thick and firm (the budget kind) — we ended up having to sleep with the couch pillows instead. A child’s step stool at the bathroom sink would also be a nice add for families with little ones.
FYI checkout was a breeze — no long list of tasks to knock out before we left, which was a nice touch after a busy vacation.
Minor fixes aside, this was a great stay and we’d book again.

The home was beautiful and spotless with all the amenities I wanted to keep my kiddos entertained. The dart board and cornhole were a big hit as well as the projector in front of the hot tub. We were even lucky enough to see bears a few times. I would definitely rent it again, hopefully next time we can utilize the pool.

My 2 sisters and I came here for our first ever Sisters Trip and it was perfect! Honestly, we could have just stayed in the cabin the whole time and had a great time, plenty of things to do at the cabin. From a pool table to board games, there is something for everyone. Cabin was very clean, welcoming, close to the attractions and accommodating. Would for sure stay again.

This cabin is definitely newer, but absolutely stunning and still felt very rustic. Our kids loved the bunk beds, arcade game console and the board games that the upstairs loft had! Both bedrooms were very comfortable and homey. We also had a bear sighting, as well as a bear break in to my in-laws vehicle (stole my FIL Tums and thankfully that’s all he took 😂). It also was far enough away from town to not hear all the noise, but close enough that you could be there in less than 10 minutes. It was the perfect cabin for the 6 of us for a weekend away as a family, and it’s being added to our favorites! We definitely want to come back soon! Thank you to our hosts, it was perfect!

Nothing short of an amazing cabin. We stayed for a short family trip and our kids absolutely loved it. Plenty of things to do in the cabin to keep everyone entertained. Cabin was clean, modern, and gave warm home like feeling. Everything was close if we wanted to go to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge.
